The work was good and the price was fine. The communication was poor. They started the job and did not come back for a week and a half. We could not get an answer or response from them. The work was fine but the time was too long. They do good work but you better stay on top of the manager.

We called Gemstar on less than a week's notice because we realized we'd be out of the house for a few days and it would be convenient to get the place painted at the same time. Pat showed up at 10am sharp (as scheduled) to take measurements and recommend a color since we were still undecided. His guys showed up, moved the furniture, covered everything, painted multiple coats, cleaned up and were done with the job in 2 days. The entire thing took less than a week from the initial phone call to completion. Overall, a positive experience!

So the guys showed up Tuesday and started right in on the job. They did a *phenomenal* job, the house looks *amazing* now. It's really shocking how a little thing like painting the trim on a brick house can make a huge difference.
