I was referred to Arlington Plumbing by a friend and I was NOT disappointed.  I was impressed with the answering service and their thoroughness in obtaining all my information (name & phone number) and my calls were returned within the same day by Scott who was quite accomodating in scheduling a 7am appt.  Brian arrived at my home a few minutes early (which I appreciate) and checked all five problems and got started.  First, he removed a water restrictor from a shower head in downstairs bathroom.  Second, he repaired a leaking pipe under my kitchen sink.  Third, he changed the diverter & shower head in my upstairs bathroom.  Fourth, he found the leak in my bathtub faucet and began to correct the issue.  Fifth, and most important, he had to change faucet and all the piping for my bathroom sink.  The work previously done was horrendous with steel piping that broke off without much force.  If Brian hadn't delved deeper into the leak, it could've been a lot worse.  Brian was great!  He was professional, knowledgeable, and quite thorough.  It was unfortunate that the previous plumber cut corners, but I'm relieved to know that all the work was be completed to the highest standard and will be in the future.

They were prompt and took care of the issues by adding an expansion tank and not charging me for that.

I'm been using these guys for 3 years and have never been disappointed.
For this particular project I had them come in to satisfy some inspection requirements from the sale of my home. They were quickly able to identify what the inspector had been talking about and whether it was a reasonable claim or not.
They came to quote the job the same evening I called, and got the work done as soon as i could have them in.
They were very honest with me about the quote. They were even a little conservative. The work ended up taking a little more time than i had anticipated (my fault not theirs) so i was worried in my head about the cost. It ended up coming in on the low end of what had been quoted.
Another point to note about these guys, that has helped me especially over the years, is that they are willing to start work early in the morning if needed. So, you don't have to take time out of your day to get things fixed.

They had the town come to shut the water off, but the town found that the valve outside was covered by a porch (old house), so the plumber instead installed a freeze seal, that is, they froze the water in the incoming pipe with carbon dioxide, then quickly cut the pipe, put a fitting on the stub, and installed the meter before the slug of water melted. I was familiar with the process because we used it in the Navy. Then they ran the piping from the new meter to hook up to the existing system in the house. They did a great job, quickly, and it never leaked! I also used them for installation of radiant heating below the floor in my living room. Another great job, but that will be another review.

I called them, and they came the same day within a few hours. The old water heater was still under warranty, and they took care of the paperwork for me. I had actually called the place the water heater came from. They were willing to take my information, but it was easier for them to deal with Arlington. They helped me in an emergency. Whenever we have an urgent situation, they are always very quick to get here. The workers are always pleasant. I always have a lot of faith in them. I have dealt with quite a few members of their staff, and they are always pleasant and dependable. I don't have any complaints with them. Their prices are a bit on the higher side, but you get what you pay for. Anything they have fixed for me has stayed fixed. I can't recall any times that I have called back to get something fixed again immediately. I have been with them for a couple years.

He had to go through the ceiling of the kitchen to fix the drain pipe. I've had several plumbers out over the past few years and the leak kept coming back. Once Arlington came out it was taken care of within a day and a half.

THIS COMPANY CAME OUT ON A SATURDAY NIGHT TO FIX MY WATER HEATER. THIS IN ITSELF IS VERY REMARKABLE. THEY WERE RELIABLE AND EFFICIENT IN THEIR WORK. I WAS PLEASED WITH THEIR RESPONSE, AND THE WORK THAT THEY DID FOR ME.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE JOB THAT THEY DID. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL IN THEIR WORK. THEY WERE IN AND OUT WITH NO PROBLEM. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN IF I HAD TO.

WE HAVE USED ARLINGTON IN THE PAST AND HAVE FOUND THEM TO BE VERY RESPONSIVE AND TO PERFORM WORK OF EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY. THIS PARTICULAR JOB, BECAUSE THE SYSTEM WAS INOPERATIVE, WAS PERFORMED VERY QUICKLY AND WITH A MINIMUM OF PROBLEMS.
