Metro Irrigation

Went well after first visit cancelled for bad weather. Victor is a perfectionist and tries to figure out what the best coverage is. Sometimes it's hard to follow his flight of ideas but he has a lot of expertise. I will continue to use him. He pointed out my prior contractors mediocre work multiple times (ok ok I get it ) and I learned a bit more about irrigation.

Victor was prompt, did what he said he would do, showed up on time,and answered all my questions. The system is driven by a well system and Victor explained up front some of the issues that can arise when working off of a well system. Turned out my well delivered better than expected and he re-engineered and installed the system the same day. Very happy with the results.

Victor showed up on time and was able to diagnose the problem with my sprinkler system. I described what was going on and pointed out some things which I thought were out of place. It turned out that my usual sprinkler company had mis-wired a rain gauge. When this gauge malfunctioned the incorrect wiring prevented my system from running. As soon as he removed the faulty gauge everything started working again. The other sprinkler company had advised me that I would need to replace my valves so Victor saved me that expense. I also had him install a new wireless rain gauge as the previous one was in a poor location for correct operation. Victor advised me how best to care for my system and told me to call if there were any issues. A month has gone by and everything is working as expected.

Victor came through again! After another fence contractor crushed the sprinkler lines, he came in and repaired it at a very reasonable price. Victor is a perfectionists in his work. Would highly recommend.

I've used Metro Irrigation for the past two years, having found Victor's company on Angies list. I was surprised when I realized I hadn't reviewed him last year. Victor is a pleasure to work with, an honest, reliable, hard working owner operator of his own business, he's a 100% straight shooter on what work you need, and will point out other issues he sees, like incorrect plumbing connects I had done by professional plumbers that he saw, explaining very logically why it was wrongly done. Having dealt with other irrigation companies before, it's a total pleasure dealing with Victor. He doesn't try to offer anything more than is needed, and always looks for the best option to repair what's needed at the lowest cost, which is very different than other irrigation companies I've had do work prior. Victor does the work himself in my experience, and takes pride in his work. Very trustworthy.

Excellent job! Initial estimate appointment was prescheduled and on time. Price was competitive and explained every detail. They filed permits for me and all I had to do was pick them up from the township. The owner personally installed the backflow preventer, solar sensor, and timer. His work flow started to pickup and was busy so he showed up on a Sunday to do the pipe installation. What an amazing clean job, pulled the pipe through the lawn and cannot even see where the cuts were. Every head was tweaked and directed for good coverage. He took the time to explain the system and the how to operate the new electronics. He uses the best products in the market and uses good practices in the installation which we all know some corners can be cut. No cutting corners here. Great job Metro!

Victor took care of everything he recommended. Took about 1.5 hours.  Very satisfied with his work.

Everything went well, Victor, the owner, came and gave the estimate and did the work himself along with a small crew.  The yard looked the same after he left as everything was cleaned up and no sign that he was there. Victor is very conscientious and detailed in his work.  He takes great pride in it.  We did have a small problem with a leak afterwards, and he was there promptly to correct it.  I will use him for my maintenance in the future.  

I had called on Friday to confirm he was coming the next week since I'd set the appointment via email. Guess they was some mix-up because he didn't have me scheduled when he checked his calendar. Victor re-arranged his next day schedule (a Saturday non the less) to accommodate. He came in and did the startup...looked for damaged heads and there were a few that were damaged (and old) and some that were just  old in that they  were not pop-up and therefore gave poor coverage so even though they worked I wanted them replaced. The old heads were on there pretty good so it was difficult to get them out while trying not to break anything in the process. Needless to say it took longer than he expected and he apologized because more time = more money and he indicated that they are typically quick to change. I saw what he had to go through and I know it was tough. In total he changed 6 heads....with about 4 of them being very difficult. In the end he managed to get them all changed and I was happy with the work. Thee way he removed and put the grass back around the new heads ...you can't tell anything was done to that area. Will continue to use Metro Irrigation for future needs.

They were good, itwas just okay. They did the job, they were good.

During the wiring connections, he found out my sump pump had stopped working. So he came back and replaced the pump for me. He said it has not been working for a long time. My basement is a finished basement with carpet and everything, so I was really lucky that he found it.

He can't finish the work until the electrical company is finished. They have to dig 23 inches to run the wiring, so he doesn't want the sprinkler system to be cut.

Pleasure to deal with, fast, courteous and a very fair price for work provided. Helluva lot better than American Lawn Sprinkler in my experience.

They were great I will definitely use them from now on to open and close my system.

Was able to accommodate  Saturday appointment at time range I specified so I didn't have to wait around all day. Very easy to get in contact with to set up appointment as well as follow up prior to scheduled visit.  Was very nice, and professional, offered some advice on things I could do myself when preparing my home for winter as I am a new home owner. Will definitely use their service in the future for winterizing and hope to get a good quote from them for some sprinkler maintenance work that I know I will need next spring.
