Very good would definitely hire again

I have used American Lawn Sprinkler for many years, but two of the last three appointments I scheduled, the technician could not get to my house in the five hour time window (which is a long time). After numerous phone calls to the company I was told another 30-40 minutes after waiting 6.5 hours. I realize that sometimes things happen, but this was the second time in two years that I had to cancel after waiting an an excessive ampount of time. I know they will call with a 30 minute window but that doesn't permit much time to do anything but wait.

It worked out very well. It is a good company to use. They couldn't have done anything better. Everything was fine. Everything was perfect.

Job went great. Tommy is a real good guy - honest, knowledgeable, and professional. The scope of the job had changed from the time of the estimate to the actual start because I had some landscaping done. Tommy rolled with it, and even though it cost more than the original quote (which I fully anticipated, as I had added more grass), he did not hold my feet to the fire. He came up with a great solution, the upcharge was fair (honestly, less than I anticipated) and so far, the coverage has been great. Lawn is looking nice.

Tommy is still supposed to come back to finish some heads (because I had to have a tree removed and some additional yard work done). Unfortunately the weather is not cooperating. I am sure he's catching up on days lost during the start of the season. But I fully anticipate the work being completed in the same manner as the rest of the job. Aside from having the capped lines above the ground, the only evidence that they did work in the yard is the greener lawn. I would definitely recommend American Lawn Sprinkler to neighbors and friends.

I moved in to my home in 1997.  The sprinkler system never was used since I moved in and was presumably unusable.  Last fall, I received a notice from the water district threatening fines if I didn't do a back-flow test.  Discussion with the water district led to the conclusion that the cheapest approach might be to disconnect the system from the water main.  My plumber couldn't identify where the connection was.  In desperation, I called Automatic Sprinkler, because, based on the placard on the sprinkler clock, they did the original install. 
When he (don't recall the name) came, he said the system was over 30 years old and was not repairable, so indeed the best solution was to do the disconnect.  He came and did his a few days later.
I feel this firm is very professional, because they stood behind their work and solved my problem, even though I was never their  customer.

Tommy and his crew were in an out. Quick, solved the problem right away, and off they go. Just the way I like it.

We use them since we moved to this house 4 years ago.  As the prior owner used them and they're the one who installed the sprinkler system.  Their service is always professional and polite.  It's hard to schedule them sometimes during peak seasons.
