Darren ,was prompt very fair on price plus added value to the property The site was cleaner after work was completed.The employees were very polite and completed the work on time.Pete his Forman works with the roofing crews for other roof work for repairs and new roofs.

I called up and had DJK come out the next day and they scheduled someone for a few days later. It was just a minor fix but the professionalism was excellent. I would highly recommend DJK for fixes and if I have a major roofing project I will likely use them.

Contractor refused to even discuss standing behind their workmanship.

It went well from the initial visit and estimate.  Darren, the owner, was responsive and showed up on time for the estimate. He spent about 1 hour with me climbing through the attic as we had some moisture and ventilation issues going on at the time.  Darren even called his contact at shingle manufacturer during the estimate appointment  to get guidance from them on some questions he had about dealing with the moisture problems. DJK was not my lowest estimate, but he was extremely reasonable.  I had a range of $4,000 to $12,000 in estimates with everyone proposing a different solution to the ventilation problems .  If I recall correctly, I think we were about $8,000 that was removal of 2 layers, asphalt shingles, and proper ventilation.
They scheduled me very quickly after we decided to go with DJK.  The day of the project, his crew showed up exactly the time he said they would and were completed exactly the time he proposed they would be. It was a one day job.  The BEST part of our experience was that Darren remained on the job supervising the entire day.  Having done many home improvements, this is a very important distinction for DJK.  His crew was very competent and nice.  They left the property exactly the way they found it, clean and no remnants of roofing or nails anywhere on the property.

My wife contracted DJK roofing because some of our neighbors used them and were happy with them. Our roof had two leaks during heavy wind-rainstorms, so it was time to replace it  They did the job in two days and used top quality materials. When i came home from work early one day, I saw them working and their boss supervising. He showed me the materials they were using. They were top quality - much better than the tar paper of old. My house feels warmer (could be my imagination, but I don't think so) even though it's much colder now I think this is due to the rubber sheet they put down prior to the roof and the insulation they added on the back roof.  DJK did the job quickly, using top quality materials, and I feel confident the roof will last at least 30 years. (Our last roof jobs lasted 15 - 20 years).

Definitely would recommend DJK Roofing. Working with Darren and his team was a great experience. During the entire time, there was a supervisor onsite. I love my new roof!!!

Excellently the job was finished in half a day by Darren Kuntz and his crew of five roofers. I have had no problem with the roof.

They were good.  We had several people come out.  We went through our home owners insurance.  They were very professional and asked a lot of very specific questions right from the get go.  They told us an estimate as to how much it would likely be over the phone and when they came out they gave us another estimate.  They gave us options as to how they could repair the damage, either in a cheaper way or a more expensive way.  While they were here, they noticed other issues which they pointed out.  I wanted extras like the cover on the gutters and I wanted a specific kind.  They were able to accommodate that as well.  I was very happy with that.  We talked about possible causes of the leaking.  They were the best company we looked at and we went with them even though they were the most expensive.  I really did like them.  They are located all over the place.  They are very busy.  They are a good company with a very professional manner. 

Workers arrived on time and worked consistently. The house was tented and so I couldn't see the actual work. At contract signing, I mentioned that I had new gutters with caps and was assured they would be careful. The roofing was fine (though I have since lost 3 shingles). The gutters and caps were ruined. DJK would not respond and made threats. The matter was settled through an attorney. Would never do business with this roofer again due to erratic behavior. Any warranty is pretty useless.

Owner came out as scheduled and on time. Told me that current ridge caps were weathered and not made of the correct material and all needed to be replaced. Said to do job correctly with proper material would be expensive. Although I was somewhat surprised at the cost ($850) he said that he would only be making a small profit since it would take his crew most of the day to replace caps and clean up. Crew came out next day as did owner. Now told me at material that goes under ridge cap was of an inferior quality and suggested that it be replaced. Again, materials were costly and job was now up to $1,500. Told me crew would be busy most of day. Two guys were done by 11am (about 3 hours), so clearly not that big a job. The next day a carpenter came to fix some trim on roof, told me he spent about a half hour cleaning up nails and materials that had been left all over the roof. I think the job was done right, but way expensive and I think the owner is a bit shady.

They did an excellent job, responded to my phone call and the owner showed up the next day for an estimate. I'd use them again and recommend them to others!

WE WERE VERY PLEASED. MOST DAYS THE BOSS CAME AROUND BEFORE WORK STARTED. HE HAS HIS OWN CREW, NO SUBS. I WOULD USE HIM AGAIN.
