ENGINEERED APPLIANCE SERVICE

They came last June and told me I needed a new part. I gave them the deposit and followed up several times. The technician repeatedly said he would follow up on the part, but never did. When I started asking for money back, he started ignoring me. When I spoke to company, they had no record of the service call. I sent them a copy of the invoice and the cancelled checks. They said they will refund the deposit. they take no responsibility and do not acknowledge that they even know the technician. something is funny. not a company I would ever trust.

Did a good job and turned out to be less than estimate due to less work having to be done

After calling another company, waiting 4 days, then getting an inexperienced (I assume because he seemed very unsure of himself)technician, and getting an $1100 sealed system estimate, I paid him his service charge and sent him on his way. A friend suggested that to work on Sub Zero refrigerators, I should not use anyone except Engineered Appliance. They had someone at my house the next day, he had the problem diagnosed properly (not a sealed sysytm repair) in about 10 minutes, and 30 minutes later the machine was working properly. I wish all technicians were as competent as this guy.

They are quite a distance away. Just to come to the door they charge $75 and then labor is $75 and hour, plus any parts you may need. Their quality is good and they get the job done.
