Thought we would need an entire replacement. Bauer came, checked the opener and determined a simple part replacement would be needed. Thinks we may get 2 more years of use!

I cannot remember the name of the technician but he was very professional and courteous. He took time to explain what he installed, the products new features, and how to use and maintain the system. The $586 charge included $25 for an additional remote. One may not need it if your car is equipped with a garage door opener. He offered to program that as well. His experience, professionalism, and efficiency made it a great experience. We would hire again.

Mr. Bauer quickly returned my call and promptly came to the house.  He made a minor adjustment of the system and answered all my questions.  Mr. Bauer is very experienced and is knowledgeable about all aspects and issues relating to garage door openers.  
Mr. Bauer's charges are fair and reasonable.  When I had a follow-up issue about a month after the service call, Mr. Bauer identified the issue and gave me phone instructions that worked the remotes.
If  I need a new garage door opener or need a servicing or repair, I will definitely contact Mr. Bauer.

We LOVE our new garage door openers. They are the quietest openers we've ever seen and have built-in WiFi so we can control them from our phone and receive notifications if we accidentally leave them open.  Bauer Doors was also great to work with.  They helped us select just the right openers based on our needs and charged a fair price for the equipment and installation.  Everyone has been super great to work with - Jim the owner, Mary in the office, Josh who did the install - all very nice, professional, and helpful.  I would highly recommend Bauer Doors for any of your door needs.

Mr. Bauer came to my home to give me an estimate. i explained i would like a new garage door opener, ours was well over 15 years and on its way out. I also want to get a quote on a new door. Mr. bauer a true professional to his trade sold me a new opner for my garage but told me that there is nothing wrong with my present door except it need some lube that was it. He suggested to change the glass insert to give it a new look but not to change the door. Mr. bauer son came and installed the opener ,another true professional. He walk me through all the steps of the opener even help me set up my wife's built in car remote. When he was done he cleaned up everything like he was never there. 
I would and will certainly recommend this company to my family and friends.

we bought a new house for our son and we needed alot of work with the toilets. they unclogged everything and reconnected some of the pipes, we were very satisfied.

Called around 9:30am. Was told he would be in my area for several other stops. Would be to my home before noon. Arrived about 11 and was done by 11:30. Friendly and experienced.

Had an issue with one garage door that was not responding consistently to both wired and wireless signals. Also, we felt the noise level on both doors had increased. We called Bauer Doors (they had installed our garage doors) and they responded quickly setting up an appountment within a few days. In fact, on the day of the service, he was early and immediately diagnosed the issue as a bad relay which he fixed. He also lubricated the rollers which quieted the noise level.
Quick, efficient and reasonably priced. What more can you ask for!

Bauer was one of two estimates we got. Basically found them due to their reputation here on Angie's list. I would certainly say that it is well deserved. The scope of the work was basically the same as what the other estimate was suggesting. Bauer's price was a little lower but I did not feel that I would be taking a risk with quality. We ended up wanting some fairly basic white doors, no windows. Jim talked me through his suggestions and even made some additional safety recommendations that I wasn't aware of, that he included in his basic price package. He recommended a very good motor and offered the model with the battery backup, which I didn't even know about, and ended up getting.

My wife let them in in the morning and by the time we got home, everything was done and clean. The doors are great. The one with the new motor is almost silent. Can't believe it really. All remotes and door key pad worked with no issues. A month later and I have not had any issues at all. Very happy with the whole experience.

Update: A couple weeks ago, the motor that they did not change out (but installed a new door on) started having an issue with it's upper stop limit. I tried to make the adjustment and resolve it myself. I was not successful and it continued to hit the upper bolt. I gave Jim a call and he sent someone out that same day. Came home and it was resolved. No problems. Great Service. Thank you so much!

We received a quick response from Bauer Doors through Angie's List and a representative came to the house on time to provide a quote. The work was scheduled, and on the day the team of two arrived on time, and efficiently and unobtrusively performed the work. The doors look great and function perfectly. Definitely would choose Bauer Doors again in a heartbeat.

They came out the day I called. Did a quick evaluation and concluded I needed a new overhead opener as I believed set a time next day. Promptly showed up and replaced the opener in less than an hour. Everything was done professionally neat and clean. They couldn't have been nicer. I went with a little more expensive opener to control from my smart phone. Very pleased with the whole process will use this nice family business again.

They replaced the springs on two doors. They also replaced hinges.

Mr .Bauer arrived right on schedule within the 1:00 to 3:00 time frame; closer to 1PM.
He was personable and professional and got on well with my dog too!
The whole repair took under an hour and I was relieved to have the garage door back in working order.

Price was exactly as quoted, which was about half of that quoted by a slick highly advertised company. Truly family member operated with two generations doing the install. They even chipped away a bit of the garage floor with a cold chisel to be sure the fit was tight. Also installed a tension spring above one garage door so that a standard spring would not be near an inside door. Finally, before leaving, cleaned up everything including going over both doors and jambs with cleaner and cloth to remove their fingerprints from the installation. Run, do not walk to your phone to call them if you need anything done relative to garage doors

Mr. Bauer was pleasant, knowledgeable, and completed all work in a timely fashion.
I would recommend him without hesitation.

Service was great. New door, new tracks, and power lift put in, old door and tracks removed. The guy worked quickly and the door that was put in is perfect. Aesthetically appealing, and the quietest garage door I have ever heard. I would recommend Bauer to anyone looking for a new garage door.

Overall it was a pleasure to work with Bauer. I would call them again without reservation and recommend their services to others.

Called and left a messaged called back about 10 min later and spoke with a gentleman on the phone gave me a ruff estimate for replacing springs over the phone. Then said he could be there later that afternoon and gave me a 2 hour window of when he would be there. Showed up on time with in the window and got right to work. He repaired the door and reused what every parts he could to save money. Work was done in a very professional manor and took about 1 hour.
