I'm so pleased that we found Rob O'Meara and his trusty painter, David Le Seur. They guided us - two clueless first-time homeowners - through the harrowing process of remodeling an old house. Rob managed to complete the job on a tight schedule and a limited budget. The results are fantastic. He was very communicative and took the time to understand our priorities - possibly better than we did. He was accommodating but never over-promised. The fact that we could trust him and David made all the difference in an otherwise stressful endeavor. I highly recommend them both.

Rob and his team just completed a full Guy renovation of our kitchen and added a laundry room. He made great recommendations from the start and his quotes were well in line with other local contractors who bid for ge job. His guys were very professional, responsive, and did great work. When my wife and I had a baby come a few weeks early, Rob’s guys stayed late to finish the job as quickly as possible while still paying attention to details and making sure the work was done right. Rob’s estimates for how long the job would take we’re accueate and he was frank and honest when needed. We’re very happy with the work. We’ve already recommended O’Meara to a neighbor and will use them again.

Rob Meara and his crew did excellent work and were very knowledgeable. My sun porch which is a side section of the house was damaged by a recent rain storm The new roofing was matched perfectly to the main part of the roof. Air vents and copper flashing were added to the roof. The entire wood ceiling had to be replaced and was concerned with keeping the character of the house. The workmanship is outstanding especially much care was taken to cut in curves around the stones of the fireplace. The ceiling is just beautiful. The crew was very professional; they cleaned-up every day when they left. The work was completed as fast as possible and the contract and payment schedule was clear and concise. Mr. O'Meara answered all my questions and always returned my calls and/or e-mails. All the work turned out better than I anticipated and very pleased and definitely would hire R.M. O' Meara Construction Services for future work

From the first day of the job the work was punctual and complete. All communications were translated into our exact vision for the job. A really important aspect of the overall job was the attention to detail and cleanliness of the entire crew. Each trade was professional and exact in their execution of their respective role. Rob as the general contractor for the job was always available throughout the job and his willingness to come to the location and address any issues was very efficient. At the end of the job there weren't really any issues to address. The ongoing productive conversations before, during and following the project resulted in one very happy customer. I highly recommend Rob O'Meara and his firm. I'm an architect and I really appreciated the quality and care that he and his contractors brought to my own home. We had some challenging circumstances during the process and he handled my project with a lot of flexibility and got the job done in an efficient manner. I also felt like Rob showed his long experience and expertise in dealing with inevitable hiccups (city inspectors!). His sub contractors - especially his tile craftsmen - were highly skilled and their work turned out great. Hire Rob!

I've used Rob and his team to replace all the windows in my home (2013), an exterior door (2014) and patio door (2014). The quality of the products Rob recommended and installed were excellent and his contractor’s installation services were top notch. Rob and his team price the job fair, complete the work on time, and are overall great to work with. In June 2016 I ripped up my deck which the patio door provided access to and found wet rot under the patio slider from a poor deck installation job performed by another contractor. I emailed Rob to explain what I found, shared a few pics, and the next week he was there to remove the rot, rebuild the rim board and joists under the patio door to ensure his patio door installation was still solid. His commitment to customer service, quality, durability and reliability of work is second to none. I would recommend Rob and the O'Meara Construction Services team for any of your home improvement needs.

All 3 new showers that Wyanoke builders from Montclair installed leaked heavily through walls and ceilings they refused to take responsibility for their incompetence and never returned any of our requests That's when Rob O'meara and his team came to our rescue and re did the 3 showers completely They worked on this project every day during the Christmas holidays coordinating the different trades until everything was finished They were a pleasure to work with. Professional,efficient,experienced and reasonably priced. The result is magnificent and the leaking problems are fixed. The total opposite of Wyanoke builders!

Rob and his crew were always courteous to our living situation as we lived in the house while the work was being done. They hooked up a temporary sink and kitchen area for us while the kitchen was being renovated and always cleaned up at the end of every day. Rob made sure we knew what was happening each week to keep me on track of selecting needed items, and stayed on schedule. The finished product is beautiful and our house and mainly our kitchen is the envy of our friends and family. Rob was always professional and responsive to our concerns and takes time to meet with us and answer our questions. I will be recommending this company to others and will be calling them back for other projects in the future. We hired Rob O’Meara and his team to work on the 83 year old house we had just bought. Prior owners had been there for 40 years but made very few updates, so we had a lot of ground to cover, and a very fixed budget. We interviewed four contractors (including a highly rated one from Angie’s List) and chose O’Meara Construction Services. Price was competitive and Rob was far and away the most knowledgeable of the contractors we talked to. We also felt he was the one who displayed the most pride in his work, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Rob and his team displayed wonderful craftsmanship (they beautifully restored original windows that had been buried under a plaster wall for at least 40 years and created a built-in dresser in master br), and found creative ways to retrofit many areas. For example, the kitchen had 30 to 40 year old counters/backsplash, flooring, and fixtures, but we did not have the budget to do a full rehab – with Rob’s team we were able to create a lovely and fresh kitchen that looks like it is brand new, but was really a very affordable facelift. Our guests love the bright subway tile they put in, and the white marble window sill they added for a finishing touch. Rob’s team tore down a wall in the kitchen to open things up, added two new window bays in other rooms, and a new shower in one of the bathrooms. They painted and plastered, and oversaw subs for flooring, plumbing and electric, including cleaning up some unsafe electrical connections the previous owners had created, then added outlets throughout the house and a radiator in our sunroom. Rob and his team also rescued the hardwood floors that had been buried underneath carpeting for more than half a century. What had been a rundown house looked beautiful and charming by the time we moved. Rob and his team were efficient and easy to deal with, cleaned up every day, and stayed within our budget. More than anything else, we found Rob (along with his foreman James) to be trustworthy and transparent, and we appreciate that they took such good care of our house. They alerted us to any potential problems as soon as they arose and worked with us to find the most cost effective solutions. And – no small thing – O’Meara Construction had a lot of experience and good relationships with the Town’s inspectors and permits, something that, as first time NJ homeowners, we came to recognize was a big part of the process.
