Frankly, I'm shocked by some of the other reviews here. It's like we're talking about 2 different guys. We hired nick to lay down a patio with walkways, clear some areas, install drainage, and do some minor planting. My experience was stellar. Nick gave me a price that was far better than any of 6 or 7 other landscapers I consulted, he got the job done in a very short time and before a critical deadline, he always responded to my text messages and calls, he was knowledgeable about town ordinances and permitting requirements as well as the various planting we requested, the quality of his work was excellent, and he corrected every little nit that I raised without objection. Plus, he's an awfully nice guy. I'm giving him a big thumbs up; I was very happy.

Nick was very professional and we agreed to monthly lawn maintainence at our house. He started off well but then started to forget to mow the lawn and I would send email/texts to remind him. Then suddenly he just stopped showing up. He said he had an issue and could not be available. I can fully understand someone having to deal with a personal situation but not returning phone calls and then not even bother to show up is totally unacceptable as we were left with an ugly lawn not mowed for over 3 weeks. Either way, I pursued him twice but never got a response so I figured that he was not interested since it may be a bit far from where he is.. But then he should never have agreed to the contract if he thought that was the case. Terribly disappointed to say the least.
