Cassie was extremely helpful in guiding us through design choices regarding outdoor lighting for our path and up lighting for our home. We have been pleased with the performance of the equipment and the teams work in getting everything installed. It was a bit more involved than anticipated, but they were clear about the scope and changes needed along the way.

In addition to the service Greenway provides in my own personal home, as a realtor in the area, we are in a position to recommend contractors all the time, and Greenway is always at the top of the list for electricians. Nick and his guys were very nice and easy to work with. They did a good job installing the lights and worked in a very efficient manner. I would use them again. My only negatives are that they didn't make initial contact with me within the two days that was stated and they didnt seem to consider any of the dates for service that I was requested to provide. Also, after I made the appointment with Nick, I received a call from someone else to schedule an appointment; they didnt know I already had one. Once I told them I had an appointment, they said they would call me back, but they never did. When I tried to follow-up to make sure my appointement was set, the voicemail was full and I couldn't reach anyone in the office live. However, Nick gave me his cell and was reachable each time I called him. Overall, it was a good experience.

Nick and his guys are top notch electricians. On time and knowledgeable. I had a very complicated ceiling fan installations and Nick did it himself and it came out excellently. I also had a flatscreen hanging job that requires hiding wires in the walls and hiding the cable box in the garage below my bedroom. Nick and team made it happen and the final result is great.

We got a set of 6 recessed lights installed through Greenway Electric in the middle of January. We had no issues during the installation. But after a week or so, I started noticing a lot of buzzing noise coming from the lights , most likely from the dimmer switch. From there on it was a nightmare trying to get someone to come and take a look at the issue. I called at least 5-6 times. Every time I call, they talk like they have never heard from me before. They say that they will get someone to call me back shortly and then nothing happens. This routine has repeated at least 6 time now and the problem is still not fixed.
I wish I had not used them in the first place and will definitely never use their services in future.

The 2 guys that came and did the service did a great job. They left no mess and made sure everything was working before they left. They replaced my outside service line and meter and replaced an old federal pacific panel, and had the breakers labeled.

I initially contacted Greenway through my research on A.L., seeing a special he was running on recessed light installation. We set an appointment to see the job. He (Nick) called me the evening before to cancel but, made arrangements to do it that weekend. He was courteous and creative in his approach to the job. A few days later, he and his co worker arrived, started right in and completed the job that same day. A day or two later, there was an issue with the dimmer switch that they addressed promptly. Overall, I am very pleased with the work that they performed. I would be very comfortable recommending this outfit.

They came the day promised and had almost the entire job completed before 5 PM.
They were going to return the day of the final inspection and complete the 2nd line in the basement but needed to cancel due to an emergency.
I am had paid them approximately 85% of the total job so it was agreed that we would end there.
All in all the work was more than satisfactory and the price was excellent.

Nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone when you call Greenway Electric. They have a call service vendor that answers their calls. You have to leave your name and number every time you call. They seem to be over committed as they are not responsive when you do leave a message The new panel was not installed completely. I had to call multiple times to have them return and label circuits in the new panel. Still not completed. They ran a generator circuit and installed interlock in panel. However, interlock was incorrectly installed had to point error to new technician and not all quoted work was delivered. Tried multiple times to resolve issues unsuccessfully. I would not recommend Greenway Electric to any of my friends or family.

"Dear Customer We really appreciate your review. A few things first. You called us on a summer emergency due to an AC Installation and having a problem with your electrician at the time. You said that you have an AC installation the next day and need it the service upgrade done ASAP because there wasn't enough spaces in the panel for the AC techs. We transferred the permits and completed the job within your desire time even though the permits weren't approved from the town. You had your AC installed and the air condition technicians kept on moving my circuit breakers around. We corrected their mistake and we passed all inspections by the city of West Orange and closed this job in the correct manner. Then we had the Generator inlet installation done. Then you repeatedly called. Even though the job was completed already the owner reached out to you in a timely matter and proceeded to help you with a different problem. We are sorry that you feel that way. We appreciate every review."
