About us
The firm of Francis C. Klein and Associates specializes in architectural design and planning for residential, commercial, industrial, health service, and institutional clients, primarily in the greater New York area. Mr. Klein has been involved in the design of social service agencies, parks buildings, places of worship, factories, warehouses, stores, offices and homes. Mr. Klein is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is a licensed architect and planner in New Jersey and New York. He is also LEED® certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) by the U.S. Green Building Council.

Our house was built in 1919 and the kitchen was in desperate condition with a terrible layout. Francis and his team created a fantastic design that greatly improved the use of the space. After much discussion with us about our priorities, his plan moved the basement stairs to provide more counter-space and designed a cut-through so the kitchen flowed into the dining room and rest of the house.
Francis worked with our contractor and our cabinet designer to make the process a smooth one.
