TARANTINO BROTHERS INC

I brought the outboard engine to him to match the color. Then he painted the cowl the wrong color.  When I picked it up it was grey it should have been silver.
  He tried to tell me the color on the engine was faded and that was why it did not match.  Nice try but I was not buying it as it was'nt even close.
 He painted it over and it matched perfectly. I was very happy.  After 1 year I noticed the paint cracking and starting to peel.  I took the cowl back to him to show him.  
 He blamed it on everything under the sun including the sun. He obviously did somthing wrong and would not stand behind the repair. The paints today are made to withstand the suns rays and after only a year come on !
 Then I asked him if he used plastic flex paint as this was plastic like a car bumper. He said no that I did not ask him to use flex paint.  When you paint plastic you have to use special paint, as it expands and contracts greatly and has to be flexible.
  When a customer brings a car or anything to a professional to be repaired, you trust in their knowledge to use the correct materials. This Guy expects you to tell him how to do the repair properly.
  Stay away from this guy....!

I brought my 2006 Acura to Tarantino's for an estimate because someone hit my car while parked and in addition to denting the passenger side front panel I could not open the passenger side front door (which is a huge inconvenience with a family of four). I spoke with the gentleman there and he immediately fixed my door so that I could open it (at no charge!). We also discussed repairing the dent. I told him that I would probably be selling the car in the near future and he said that I could compound the dent out a little myslef but honestly due to the half dozen other cosmetic blemishes it would not be finantially worth it to fix it. It is so refreshing to meet a a merchant with honesty and integrity. In the future if I need an auto body shop Tarantino's is the only place I will go. I would also highly recommend him to my friends and neighbors.
