Martin A. Grant Surveying, Inc.

My wife and I first hired Martin Grant to do a survey in 2012, on a home that we decided in the end not to purchase (in Wall, NJ). He provided an excellent survey, and when our attorney told Martin that we had decided against buying that home, Martin very kindly and generously discounted his bill, which we really appreciated. Three years later, when we entered into a contract on a home in Atlantic Highlands NJ, we hired Martin again. He again provided top-notch service, this time on a property that encompassed two separate lots. His fee was very reasonable ($675), especially for someone with his level of expertise, and beyond that, Martin was totally professional, prompt and courteous. We had Martin come out once more, on March 10, 2016, to set two posts so that we could re-align an improperly aligned fence. As before, he came out when he promised, did the job properly, and took time to speak with me about boundary issues he had experienced over the years, to make sure I knew to contact our neighbors before we cut down scrub that was actually on our property but had been on their side of the improperly positioned fence. This conversation was very helpful. To sum up: Martin Grant is not only a highly skilled surveyor but a very nice person. We would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone who wants their home surveyed properly.
