JBS Painting

I contacted Josh for an estimate which was in line with other estimates that I had for the same job.He was also given an excellent recommendation by a good friend of mine who had just had her kitchen painted by him.I also had a fairly unique situation in that my kitchen had been faux painted a number of years ago with oil-based paint. Other painters said that there would be no problem painting directly over the oil-based paint with the latex paint-Josh was the only one who suggested priming the room first to assure good adherence of the latex paint. It took Josh two days to do the job. On the first day, he first spackled in all of the rooms and then proceeded to tape EVERYWHERE where the areas to be painted met other surfaces. Once he was done with that, he sanded the spackled areas and primed all three rooms, not just the kitchen. On the second day, Josh gave all of the rooms the second coat of paint, removed all of the tape and cleaned up. Both days, he took his brushes and rollers home with him to clean -- he didn't do that in my house. I was quite pleased with the job that Josh did and would certainly use him again.
