His son came to measure, the window measurement was wrong, the door measurements were right, the father John installed the interior door and then it started to rain and he left and said he would be back the next day to do the storm door. Instead he sent his son Jared to do the storm door, the door is crooked and sticks at the bottom overall the storm door was installed sloppy and I am stuck with it. The window measurements were wrong i was told to purchase a window that is 36 x 38, the size was wrong and i had to do a special order window, so the father John Schick came back and brought his wife in my house to do the measurement, there was no reason for her to come in. He gave me new measurements and of 36 x 35.5 a special order which cost more money and took 5 weeks to come in. He came on Sunday to Dec 4 to install the window and started yelling that the new window was the wrong size. Well there is a rough opening when I texted his wife with the variations of the rough opening and asked her to check with him as to what size I should order, she gave me the wrong measurements. He NEVER got on the phone nor did I have any communication with him at all. I was annoyed with his tantrum and he said he didn't like my attitude and left. I paid him $650.00 for the doors installation, which the door is not right and the install for the window was to be $200.00 and now I am stuck with the wrong size window ($201.74) for the window and no installation. I have all this information sizes etc. in texts from his wife and I will be retaining legal counsel and will be filing a complaint with the business bureau. He had an elaborate website with all kinds of construction projects that they perform. The website has been taken down. When he first came to my house to install the door he represented himself saying he works for HOME DEPOT. Boy did I get scammed. I started this project in August 2016 and yesterday Dec 4th 2016.

He did the work as contracted with a high quality product ( Owens Corning - TRU DEFINATION ) His workers were very experienced . They cleaned the work area and worked after dark to do the clean up. Quite a suprise! His price was much lower than the other two quotes that I received. As far as I am concerned you Can't go wrong using John Schick for your home work needs. He operates in the old school fashion His word is good
