Bob's Discount Furniture - South Brunswick

It was awesome. They were very timely in their delivery. They were there when they said. They took the old stuff out. It was great. I had no problem at all. For professionalism, I wasn't there. It was my son, but I'm assuming it was a "B". They were there when they said they were going to be.

We ordered a bed from Bob's. The showroom was nice and the salesman helpful. However, on the day of delivery we were told that our bed would arrive between 12:57 and 3:57. We scheduled our entire day around the delivery. Around 2pm I went onto Bob's website to track my delivery and it said that I was scheduled for delivery at 8:32 that night. I then called Bob's and was placed on hold for over 30 minutes. I then called back and was told someone named Gina would call me back after they got in touch with the "depot". After receiving no calls by 5pm I called back again and was given the run around about how the truck was only at stop number 6 and I was stop number 13. At the time the truck was in a town about an hour away and as I was speaking with the representative she told me of all of the previous stops and the stops which they still had to make. The truck had already been in my town earlier that day and then went further south. In fact stop number 7 was the town next to mine and then the truck was heading south again. I demanded to be moved up and receive my furniture after stop 7 since it was in the town neighboring mine. I was told that they couldn't do that because all of the stops had "promised" delivery times. I asked what the message on my voicemail stating that I would receive my delivery between 12:57 and 3:57 was, obviously not a promise. The representative then said that the other customers had been promised their delivery times because they had had problems with their furniture and were getting replacements. Well, if I wasn't convinced by some of the poor reviews of Bob's on the net I now had to be faced with the fact the Bob's was now going to make me an unhappy customer trying to appease all of their ither unhappy customers. The representative assured me that the truck would finish the other 5 deliveries quickly and that I would have my delivery by 6:30 that night. I can add and know that there was no way they could do that. Also by this time their online delivery tracker was estimating my delivery for after 10pm. I have two infants and that just wasn't going to work. We canceled our order and purchased something much nice from Raymor and Flannigan the next day. Yes it was a little more expensive but I do believe that you get what you pay for.
