Every step we went through with Susan was great. She is very professional and very easy-going. Her ideas and designs are wonderful. Susan listened to what we wanted and came up with plans accordingly. Changes, and things that didn't work, were handled well and new ideas were drawn and incorporated.

We’ve used Susan Rochelle for two additions onto our house. Both times it soon became clear that the smartest thing for us to have done was to hire her. Susan’s good ideas seem to be boundless. If you think that the architecture step in your project is something that you can skip, we would urge you to reconsider, especially if your motivation is to cut cost. For us to have done that would have been, well, penny wise and pound foolish!
For example, as Susan listened to our different ideas for renovating the kitchen, she was able to come up with a design that made us both happy by blending the old and new together. Also, we were sure it wasn’t possible to add a pantry to our small kitchen, but she found a way and now I can’t live without it.
Susan Rochelle brought us the project that we wanted, both times. And, yes, we found ways to bring the work in at reasonable cost. More importantly, we love what we built!!

Excellent! Susan was extremely creative in figuring out a way to renovate my parent's home so that it would be functionally appropriate but still warm and welcoming. She did extensive research on "universal design" which is ensures that someone who is in a wheelchair or needs assistance can use the space, the bathroom in particular, but also so that others in the family can comfortably use the space and appreciate the asethetics. As such, she partnered with a local plumbing supply company to help us find pieces that would work well in the space for both my mom and dad. Additionally, she built a plan to include access into the home via ramp that would be easier for my parents but wouldn't disrupt recently added stone and siding on the front of the home. She was creative and patient at every step. This meant a lot at such a difficult time. We would highly recommend her!
