He lives in our neighborhood as well. We like all the people in our neighborhood. I came home from surgery to a finished bathroom and I had to use my walker to get in there so yeah, he was the best. I can't complain about his work at all. He's even stopped by. We already told him we're doing the next two bathrooms; I have two more. He does all the work himself. As a matter of fact, because we were busting ground to put the plumbing in, he brought his own - I couldn't believe he brought it - he brought bagged dirt. He goes, we don't wanna put bugs in here, we're gonna get bagged dirt. I liked him, yeah. It was nice. His work was all permitted as well; it was good. He's already done some work for us; he had done work in the past and we called him a second time. We had plumbing problems at one of the bathrooms upstairs. He had to re-plumb and new fixtures. That was maybe five, six years ago. That's when we met him. Houses are money pits. He even came late at night. He said it's okay, I live next door. He's a couple blocks over. He is a nice guy; that's why I said every time I need a plumber, that's who I'm calling. He's really awesome. He's super.

My mudroom is nice and dry. The problem was fixed. We have new plumbing and stop valves for the line leading to the sprinkler system and an updated main shut off valve for the meter line--- it was old and hard to use before. Under the cabinet where the work was done and on the cement foundation that was drilled into to install the new lines are all neat and clean, with no damage whatsoever to the cabinetry. Excellent work Martin Masters.

Had a terrible experience with this company, replacing a laundry sink that left us with tons of water damage and ruined, irreplaceable items. Shockingly, they then wanted to charge us to fix the problem they created--and the price was even more ridiculous. The owner of the company was rude and completely out of line. He could have fixed the problem and made it better but instead decided to act inappropriately and blame others to claim it was not his or his unskilled technician's problem. The most unprofessional and terrible provider I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.

"The leak this customer is speaking of was due to someone else putting a nail into a copper pipe behind the wall. It was in no way related to our work. We opened the wall nearby and were able to show the homeowner the nail coming through the sheet rock into a copper pipe. We even took pictures and sent them to her. We explained that we do not use nails in plumbing and her leak was not related to the properly installed laundry sink. She wanted us to take responsibility for someone else's mistake. We explained that we stand behind our work and if it was related to the sink install it would have been rectified but because it was because someone else put a nail through her wall and into a pipe it had nothing to do with us at all. We did provide a free estimate to repair the hole made by the nail but the customer did not want it done. We guarantee all of our work."

Very well. Have used Martin Masters for 4 yrs. Complicated hot water baseboard / radiant heat system. Service personnel are all knowledgeable. Fixed a problem we were having for years due to improper initial installation by contractor. System heats house much more efficiently now.

I couldn?t be more thrilled with Masters - they completed a pretty complicated install of a Spacepak AC system in our 1929 home with excellent cooling results and minimal impact to the structure or aesthetics of the home. Martin was fantastic working through the initial planning and through the entire installation process. The work was on-time, on-budget and they left the house spotless after a 5 day installation.

They did give an estimate before performing work, but refused to give a breakdown of parts and labor. Very evasive. The estimate was honored and bill paid at time of sevice. With outside temps being in single digits and me being 300 miles away I had to agree to work being done. Disabled girl living in the condo was freezing with no heat. After finally recieving a copy of work performed 2 weeks later I was able to determine it was about $250-$300 parts and $700 labor for approx 3 hours work. Even at $100 an hour, which is the going rate, they were excessive. I am a profit motvated individual and run my own business, but do it fairly.

basement heating zone was not working, it took ten minutes to diagnose problem, go back to truck for 25 minutes to smoke & write-up estimate to replace wire from heating unit 40 feet away thru an OPEN drop ceiling.
price was absoultely ridiculous ,

They did a very good job. I waited until the last minute but they were still able to schedule me pretty quickly. They came out a couple of times before they did the work so they could look over the old system and make sure the boiler was sized right. The supplier dropped off the boiler and they brought about six guys so everything went off on schedule. When they piped the boiler they did it the old fashioned way, whereas other companies wanted to do copper piping. They were definitely more expensive but I thought they did the job the right way.

They did the job. A week later the faucet didn't work. I called them and they said it would cost me another $90.00 to look at it. Stay away from this money eating company. They do not look out for the customer. They also give you a list of why they must charge their high prices.

Their service is excellent and they know what they are doing, but their prices are high. The company is like a big outfit and they have a big team and come quickly. They can usually get somebody to help you in a short duration. They have a membership offer wherein if you become a member then you will get lower price on everything, but they have just continued with that. In general, they are probably high priced than most of the other places.

WE SHOPPED AROUND FOR A NEW SYSTEM AND THIS COMPANY ANSWERED ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS. WE HAVE AN OLDER HOUSE AND NEEDED A SPECIAL KIND OF AIR SYSTEM CALLED SPACE PAK. THEY WERE FINISHED INSTALLING THE UNIT IN EIGHT DAYS. THEY STAYED WITHIN THE PRICE QUOTE.

HE WAS VERY GOOD AND PROFESSIONAL. UNFORTUNATELY, HE DID NOT STAY WITHIN HIS ESTIMATE. HE ENDED UP NEEDING MORE PARTS. HE WAS VERY GOOD AND TRUSTWORTHY THOUGH. HIS PRICES USUALLY ARE NOT THAT BAD, BUT WE NEEDED A CERTAIN PART THAT WAS A LITTLE EXPENSIVE.

IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO DETERMINE WHO IS DOING A GOOD JOB. I FELT THAT THEY WEREN'T VERY PROFESSIONAL. HOWEVER, THEY DID NOT LEAVE A MESS FOR ME TO CLEAN UP. I ALSO DON'T THINK THE PRICE IS REASONABLE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.

THERE WERE SOME PROBLEMS AT FIRST; NOT ENOUGH DUCT WORK WAS DONE. BUT THE PROBLEM WAS FIGURED OUT AND THE REAL TEST WILL BE THIS SUMMER IF IT WORKS RIGHT.
