GS installed a 30 year GAF Roof ,improperly , which voided the Warranty , be very careful dealing with them .not recommended

First, I was surprised that they wanted me to pay to repair their repair of their earlier error, but the storm was an unusual event, and their price was low enough that I didn't want to argue about it with Winter coming.
They did the work and sent a bill, but the repair job didn't look right. It was lumpy. After a few storms, it was leaking, too. I asked for someone to come out and tell me what could be done, and their sales rep assured me that if I paid the outstanding invoice, he would make sure the job was done. To his credit, the workmen came out to work on the roof and I think they got the leak fixed, but the job still looks lumpy. I also told them about a shiny stripe on one side of one of the replaced shingles, and I was told that was sealant. (None of the other shingles have any shiny stripes - I hope sealant was used on them, too.) I was told that the workmen would come out again, and that is the last I heard from the company.
Even through the sales rep promised that he'd find out what was done on my roof, and even though I left several follow up messages, the sales rep has stopped taking my phone calls and has stopped returning my calls. Now, in addition to a Frankenstein repair job on the inside of my roof from the August 2010 job, I have a lumpy patch and a shiny stripe on the outside of my roof, too. And I paid for that.
Throughout the process, it was very difficult to speak with anyone that had any information. Several messages left with people were never returned, answering machine messages were ignored, the right people were unavailable when I did get through to the office, then I was told that they would have to find out what happened and get back to me. It was just a rotten process that, combined with the horrible appearance of their work, leaves me with absolutely no faith in the result.

AT FIRST I THOUGHT THEY DID AN AMAZING JOB, BUT I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH IT A MONTH AFTER THEY LEFT. DIDN'T DO SOMETHING RIGHT AND IT STARTED TO LEAK. I THINK THEY JUST CUT CORNERS TO GET IT DONE. I DON'T REFER THEM ANYMORE.

THEY ARE VERY TRUSTWORTHY AND DEPENDABLE. THEY CLEANED UP ALL OF THE OLD SIDING AND WINDOWS. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ALWAYS ON TIME. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
