Comac is the best! This was our second big project with the company. The whole team works one project at a time. They are professional, on time, communicative and do beautiful work. I trust all Comac employees in my home when I am out and they are kind to my dogs, despite their barking. I can’t wait to hire them again. They even follow up after the project is completed to make sure no issues have arisen once we live in the new room day to day.

Burt and his team did a fantastic job. My kitchen went from disaster zone to fabulous. Sam and Manny went above and beyond and always made sure that my home was secure before leaving every day. What's more, they showed up when they said they would. Burt (excellent manager) kept the project on schedule. He maintained an open line of communication, managed my expectations, and held my hand every step of the project. Since I had not done this process before that was very valuable to me. I highly recommend CoMac.

Burt, Sam and Manny were fantastic all the way through. They are very attentive to detail and communicated well throughout the project. When supply orders were delayed they did everything they could in the meantime so any overall delays in completion time were avoided as much as possible. They were also great about making changes along the way as needed to accommodate preferences. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

There truly is no better contractor than CoMac. They have done another bathroom and my kitchen in the past, as well as, numerous friends and family. They are always punctual. My house is left spotless after a day of work, and the work is beyond exceptional. I can't wait for them to do my master bathroom in the near future!! I highly recommend them--an absolute 10/10.

Comac transformed it into a beautiful living space and a stunning bathroom. The quality of their work, as always, was very high. This is the 2nd project we did with Comac and it was a great experience just like the 1st project. It is a pleasure working with Burt and Sam. They are extremely professional and meticulous in their work. They listened to our ideas and gave good suggestions, until we decided on the plan. They pay close attention to detail and all of their work is high quality. They are very reliable in completing the work and in communicating if there are any questions we need to discuss. The kitchen came out beautifully and we look forward to working with them again on a future project.

Working with Burt and Sam was the best experience we have ever had in home renovation. The quality of the work was extremely high, with attention to every detail. There were 3 parts to the job - turning a porch into an interior room, building a deck and building a porch, and all came out looking great. We get many compliments from our neighbors. Burt and Sam listened to every idea we had, some that we thought of during the job, and came up with a solution for each one based on their vast experience. They were meticulous in their work and treated our house as carefully as they would treat their own. They were extremely reliable, and if they said they would take care of something we knew that they would get it done. Burt always let us know their schedule and they kept to it. They cleaned up after every day and at the end of the job our home was spotless. It was truly a pleasure working with Burt, Sam and Manny. We look forward to working with them on our next project.

We are extremely happy with the work done by CoMac. Burt took care of all the details. The kitchen remodel was a complete gut job with a layout change and a large structural beam. Tile work and carpentry work wonderful. The few small curveballs during the project were handled gracefully. Never any pressure, always professional, and a joy to be around. We look forward to hiring CoMac for our next big project. Our close friends have already hired CoMac to do an entire house remodel.

It was great. They gutted the entire kitchen. They had to replace wood that was eaten by termites. Among the things they did, were that they plumbing and electrical work. Also, they did new windows, new tile floor, cabinets, granite countertops, and they pointed me in the direction to get the countertops. They have great attention to detail to make the customer happy. They go above and beyond what a normal contractor would do. The work came out beautiful. They are good at suggestions and guidance in picking out colors. They did carpentry replacing a door frame. They painted everything, did the tiling on the walls above the countertops. All the people they sent me to to get the material were great; they gave great advice on who to go to. They fixed a leaky bathroom sink at no charge and helped me get rid of an old grill and bring up a new grill at no charge. They installed a refrigerator with ice maker, they moved gas lines and installed a stove, they also installed a new oven with microwave above it. The kitchen came out wonderful and exceeded my expectations.I didn't bother to get a second estimate because I knew I wanted them based on the reviews I read on Angie's List and meeting them once. Burt Mackintosh and his partner Sam Comfort are lovely, lovely men. I wouldn't hesitate hiring them for another job.

It was a pleasure working with Burt, Sam and Manny. They were on time, area was clean when job was completed. SAM was able to come up with ideas to finish two items on our list that other contractors did not want to deal with. We wish we found them sooner.

We've been using CoMac for the last 5+ years. They've done 2 master bath remodels, a kitchen remodel, a basement remodel and built us an office. I can confidently say Burt, Sam and Manny are the reliable and trusted to a point where we consider them almost family. It's incredibly difficult to know whether you're selecting the right contractor. I know my wife and I have always been hesitant about this when choosing companies. When we found Burt in 2012 we just knew we'd always use him and his company for any jobs on the house. My latest master bath remodel went very well as we once again gutted down to the studs. We knew the job was large and it took roughly about 6-7 weeks to complete. But Sam is meticulous with his quality and does not leave a job unless he feels it's up to his standards. The three of them are incredibly respectful and my kids love them. I mean they're on a first name basis at this point with the kids and I just couldn't possibly imagine not using them for these large jobs. Overall This job was again a rousing success. Even though the sales guy was very nice to talk to I was really disappointed that he refused to give price quote after wasting 1.5 hrs of his and my time. They do not use newer and better waterproofing technologies like Dutta, schluter Kerdi membranes or even liquid membranes. The best they could do was cement board, which by itself does not provide waterproofing. Consumers beware: Just cement board is not waterproof. Educate yourself at floorelf.com before hiring a tiling contractor.

You spend so much time in the kitchen, that it is a big commitment to remodeling and "doing without" for periods of time, e.g. sink, appliances. Co-Mac cut my "down time" to a minimum and were very considerate in performing the work in a timely manner to minimize the inconvenience. They were extremely neat, showed up when they said they were coming, and called if there was even the slightest delay. The workmanship was of superior quality, especially the backsplash design. Since they are highly experienced, they also recommended some design changes which worked out very well. I now have the "dream kitchen" thanks to the CoMac team.

Great! They did high-quality work with high-quality materials. They treated the work and premises as if they were doing it at their own home. They kept the work area clean and safe, and when they finished everything up, even the garage was left cleaner than before they started! I tend to be a perfectionist (... a contractor's nightmare), and if I ever noticed or mentioned a small item, it was addressed immediately, without question. Burt and Sam were very personable and a pleasure to work with. I recommend them highly and will certainly contact them the next time I need some work done.

After using CoMac for my bathroom/kitchen renovation (see review dated 9/22/2013) they were first call for my windows and doors. And again I'm totally satisfied. They helped me choose the doors and windows and their recommended products were excellent quality. The installation was superior, as I knew it would be. Its apparent that they take tremendous pride in their work. I highly recommend CoMac.

As often happens, we kept adding little jobs to the list - and the answer was always a can-do YES. No rushing to get to the next job - they truly wanted to make sure we were totally happy.
