BOW WOW BED & BATH

I have seen and worked at many kennels ~ This one goes above and beyond just pet sitting! They have their own rooms with beds. Each room has a doggie door leading to their own private outside kennel (inside has AC/Heat) Besides having their own little outside areas there are also HUGE grassy play yards with toys and baby pools! The employees, Doreen and JoAnn, are some of the best people Ive ever met and take time to play with, cuddle, talk to, pet and generally spoil every animal as if it were their own. Maybe Im bias because I work there. Im the Pet Stylist. Im a Nash Academy graduate and have 24 years experience. So if your fur baby needs some sprucing up or a full groom, Im there to provide that departure service so your pet is looking his/her best to greet you for the ride home! We also take grooming appointments for pets who are not our guests. Mark and Adrienne Agresti are the owners of this B&B. Professional and caring, they make sure everything is taken care of. All of your pets specific needs are met. Special diet, exercise, or medications ~ no problem. Like I said, this isnt just 'pet sitting' Your pet is having a vacation of their own while you can relax, knowing they are being well cared for in your absence. The people at Bow Wow Bed and Bath are excellent. They were very helpful and understanding. They asked questions about any special needs or things they should know about our cat. We came back a day early and we weren't able to give them much advance notice. There were no problems and our cat was in excellent condition when we picked him up. The prices are very reasonable, especially since it was a holiday week.

My dog loves going to Bow Wow. When I bring her to her other Kennel, I can see she is not as happy. I pay extra for her to enjoy her senior years. She does not play well with other dogs, so she gets her own play time. She is older and they giver her meds and treats. The owner and staff are caring and take good care of her. I also take her for her grooming and she always looks clean. My dog has some issues and they handle them well.

They have kennels with runs and this is not a boutique type of boarding place. A dog is a dog and my dogs did perfectly well there. One of my dogs is a difficult dog, she is not always good with strangers, she might nip and they can handle it. They pay attention to what I tell them, which is just put her in there to feed her but, do not try to handle her and they thanked me for being honest about her behavior problems and they dealt with it. The thing that I will say is that, owners who want to take their dogs to a fancy place; they will not like Bow Wow. If you are looking for a kennel where your dog is going to get good care, they have a good run, and they keep it clean. They feed the dogs as you tell them to feed them. If the dogs are friendly, they let them out. If your dog is friendly and gets along with other dogs, they will let the dogs out to play during the day to run about a little bit and burn off some energy. I feel very comfortable that if anything were to happen to my dog they would get in touch with me immediately and make sure a vet was contacted. Your dog is not going to get kennel cough or get sick at that kennel. It is a good kennel. I have not checked out other places, I assume that their price is competitive. I went to them because I knew my dogs would be getting what I consider to be good care. The people that do work there care about animals. The folks that clean the kennels are sharp people, they are not dumb and they are there because they like working with animals. I will use them again; I have no doubt about that.
