Steve stopped by today to check an electrical issue. It's quite refreshing to meet such an honest, knowledgeable and friendly person. I really appreciate the time he spent and will definitely use Rhodes & Sons for my electrical work for future jobs!

This any was responsive, cheerful, friendly and professional from my first telephone contact. The appointment date was extremely quick which was necessary as the room with the sconces has no overhead light and was totally without illumination. Nathan Rhodes came bang on time and took care of the situation which proved to be a bit more complex than it first appeared. His friendly, cheerful manner, expertise and carful cleanup of grungy sconces and the work area were greatly appreciated. Pricing was great and this is now my go-to electrician...there are two more projects in the works!

I am very happy with their work.

Was very professional.  Dealt with local building code officer and negotiated a better and cheaper alternative than what code officer initially requested.  Was able to start and subsequently finish the job sooner than expected.

The team showed up exactly on time.  This was an extra plus because a big snowstorm was forecast, and it was already beginning to snow.  They checked out the problem and replaced the faulty circuit breaker quickly and efficiently.  The electricians were friendly, courteous, and efficient.

They are great!   Explained everything in detail and extremely well.   They came when they said and did an incredible job!

We highly recommend Rhodes & Sons for any generator or electrical work.  Steve Rhodes was the third contractor we had brought in to give a quote on a whole house generator install.  Steve sat with us and took the time to explain the generator options, walked through the installation process, and then reviewed possible site locations for the generator & where the transfer switch would be installed (none of the other contractors did this last part during consultation).  While reviewing where to place the transfer switch, he identified that our existing wiring needed to be cleaned up (we had about 80 years worth of previous wiring jobs that left wires all over the place).  His quote for the installation and wire cleaned up came in lower than the other two quotes we had received for inferior generators.

Throughout the installation process, the crew always showed up on time, worked quickly, and was very courteous.  They took care of the permitting & approvals, guided us on next steps in engaging the gas company to get a survey for gas pressure and the installation of a larger gas meter, and coordinated activities with plumbing.

After installation, Steve walked us through all the components they set up, explained how the transfer switch works, and showed us how the generator is set up & the steps to maintain it.  He answered all questions and made us feel very comfortable with our understanding of how the product works.

Rhodes & Sons also offers monitoring and maintenance services, which we signed up for.  This includes them receiving notifications from our generator if any issues occur and they will contact us & come out for service if required, as well as annual check-ups & tuning of the generator.

Overall, we found Steve & his son to be very easy to work with, the quality of their work to be very high, and are very pleased with the service they offered.

Steve and his crew were excellent and were in and out so quickly. They did a very good job and I would recommend them for anyone needing electrical work done. Steve's son works with him and it is wonderful to see a family business and one that definitely takes pride in their work. Having any kind of work done in your home can be stressful, so having dependable people you can trust, makes it easy!

Steve Rhodes was extremely professional, prompt and courteous. We are seriously considering hiring this company to perform the work if the estimate proves to be lower than or in line with others.

I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE EXCELLENT. THEY DID ALL OF THE WORK PRETTY QUICKLY. THE QUALITY OF WORK WAS GREAT. I THOUGHT THAT THE PRICE WAS PRETTY FAIR.
