About us
Founded in Metuchen, NJ in early 1958, we remain a privately held, family owned and operated automotive service facility. We employ a team of six staff members; all technicians and management are ASE certified. We accept checks, cash, Visa, Mastercard and Discover for modes of payment. Receiving payment in full for all services rendered at the time said services are completed remains standard operating procedure unless other payment arrangements are established prior to performing said services. We do our level best to run the production line of our facility on an appointment basis, applying minimal effort to keep our clients stated preferences and better interests at the forefront our minds with regard to daily production instead of our own.

Service was friendly and on time.
Particularly liked their suggestion that fixing the minor oil leak would likely involve replacement of very expensive exhaust system components and that protecting my driveway from the drips would be more cost effective.
So I took the car to Justin. He and his team determined where the noise was coming from and that the problem was rust on the rotors. Justin called to let me know the findings and what the cost would be for the appropriate service. He said he was confident it would resolve the problem. It's been about three weeks now, and the brakes are so wonderfully quiet that I turn off the radio when I back up just to enjoy the silence! I was very happy with the whole experience and my husband and I will be taking our cars to Justin for service in the future.
They give detailed explanations and tell me about future
potential problems. I wish that I could get explanations
like these from my doctor.
One of the things that really impressed me about this shop initially was that about a month after my first repair was done (on my son's car) Justin called to ensure that I was happy with the outcome and that the car was still running well. I'm not just a checkbook here, this guy actually cares about his customers. That's a nice thing to find in this world.
I've been a BIAR customer for four years and counting, and I hope they stay open forever, because they're NEVER losing my business! Oh, and the shop's mascot is pretty awesome too. :)
