They performed a service provided through Home Depot. We were looking at putting in new cabinets, but we didn't want to spend money to take cabinets out. We liked the layout of our kitchen. We opted for a refacing because we had good, solid wood cabinets. We ordered a certain style, and they quoted us a price. They said they would knock $2,000 off of the price if we did it right away. It turned out that they couldn't do what we were asking. It was a certain style that wasn't available in the color we wanted. Two weeks went by, and the guy came back. We picked another style that was cheaper. About a month later, they started the installation. There was an issue with the doors opening from the wrong side. They did the installation up to the doors we had. They used a wood laminate to finish the work, and we were pleased with it. There were a couple of places where it looked like it had been run through a machine, which bothered us. It makes it look like less than wood, but it is wood. They missed putting some molding on, so they came back to do that. It wasn't a big issue, and the guy came out with no problem. In one location, they hung a darker door next to a lighter door. I felt like that was kind of unprofessional. The whole experience was bumpy. Once they fixed one issue, another issue would pop up. We spent a lot of money on the whole project, and it was unprofessionally done. We complained to Home Depot twice, and they only leaned on the remodelers to make it right. We were pleased with the look of the cabinets, but I wouldn't ever use them again.
