GASPER ROOFING

February 2018. I hired Gasper Roofing to do multiple works in my house: gutters, attic ventilation, and chimney. The quality of work was excellent and the customer service first class. Very responsive to my questions and concerns and took enough time to explain the details of the work and the reasons of their recommendations. I recommend Gasper Roofing as a good and trusted contractor, and they also speak Spanish.

It went really well.  Jason's team arrived on time when scheduled.  It was raining and they were not sure if they could go on the roof and do the work with all the rain, so they stuck around for a bit to see if the rain let up.  It did after 1 hour so it was nice to see that they stuck around rather than just rescheduling.

They did a great job, the roof looks great!  They were very courteous and respectful to my property and trash.  They cleaned up everything after they were done and used a high powered magnet to pick up any nails that may have fallen.

The roof looks great and I'm glad I selected them. As I mentioned above, I am going to have them come out and do some other work as well which I have not scheduled.  I have rotted Facscias which he is going to come out and replace.

Would absolutely recommend their work.

I tried to get estimates from 4 different companies.  Two  of them never came out to give estimates on date they were supposed to.  One came out and gave a verbal quote of over 11, 000. (Universal)   and they wouldn't put anything on paper.  Said I didn't need that, and they were rude.

John from Gasper was very professional both with the estimate and work.  He worked with me on price since my means are very limited.  They came out on a Saturday as scheduled with a crew of 5 or 6 people.  Completed all work except a small amount of flashing and they came back early the next day (Sunday) to finish that up.

This work was all done on my sons house in Palmyra, NJ.  He is a contractor (home remodeling) himself and couldn't say enough good things about this company.  Prompt, courteous, professional, cleaned up everything and left the area spotless.

He says that it's the only way that he can really guarantee it for the life that it's supposed to have. He said with the second roof we can do it by fire code and get away with it but there's no way to get flashing in there under that siding without stripping it all down doing it right. A lot of the new roofs that were put around here had no drippage, they leave it off, he said I got to have it because it keeps water from getting up under the shingles, it will save it down to $500 per house by leaving it off. It's a little more expensive but it's a 30-year guarantee on the roof which most roofers don't do. What he does, he does it right. He has been in the business for a long, long time and he doesn't mind giving his contractor's license number and he wants you to know where he lives in case there's a problem. I've used him before and I know he does a good job.

I ended up having my vent caps replaced to seal up a leaky roof. Gasper Roofing could have told me that I needed a new roof, and I would have replaced it, but Jon came out and told me what would fix my existing roof. No leaks since. Prompt, Honest, and Affordable. When it is time to replace my roof, I know how I will be calling.

The roofer could have told me that I needed a new roof, but he didn’t tell me that. He just told me the small problem that needed to be fixed. He was really nice and very timely. My overall experience was great. The roofer came back when he said he would and everything was fine. I would certainly use his services in the future too.

My three neighbors and I coordinated it so that we all replaced our 22 year old roofs at the same time to ensure uniformity of appearance and, hopefully, a good price. Owner John Gasper came when he said to give us all estimates, his price was more than fair (many homeowners in the development had been having their roofs replaced so we knew what a good price was) and there was no hard sell. On the date promised, materials were delivered to each driveway and the work began the next morning. Within 3-4 days the roofs were finished. When I got home from work on the last day there was no sign (except for my new roof!) that anyone had been working there for the previous few days. The yard was cleaned up and all debris taken away. I can't say enough about Gasper Roofing. They are honest, hard-working and aim to please. I have absolutely the highest praise for John and his crew. Below I say I got more than my money's worth because, as a female homeowner with little knowledge of the building trades, I often worry that I can be taken advantage of when I need work done on my house. Watching HGTV just gets you so far! With this roofing project I gained confidence in my ability to pick a good tradesperson. And now I have Angie's List to help me, too!

These men were even nice enough to go to the store for us and match the paint we needed to cover the sheeting they used to patch up the area where the birds were getting in to. They are very professional and very supportive.
