Ken Hartman is the only home inspector you should hire. Ken inspects a property as though he or his family would be living there. I know he truly had our best interest and safety at mind and heart when he did our recent home inspection. Ken is a true professional and the inspection is incredibly thorough. He walks you through all the big items, explains anything complicated, and then provides a 100+ page report that becomes an â instruction manualâ to your home. If you don't want to walk into a bad situation then Ken is your guy. I am a first time home buyer and buying a home is not a fun process. Your home inspection is your safety net from making a bad decision. Ken does an outstanding job of making sure you know exactly what issues a house currently has and offers great advice on how you should go about resolving those issues. Ken went above and beyond the call of duty to find out the house we were going to purchase had flooded spending time going through numerous videos to find proof the home had water in it. Our realtor told us they would only go back 5 years so unless Ken had told us the home had flooded we would have purchased a house that was completed flooded during Irene. He also did a very thorough home inspection, noting every thing that needed to be fixed. I would highly recommend him!

Ken was very professional from our first call on the phone through the whole inspection process. He rescheduled us several times due to our brokers ever changing time frame. Keep in mind that a home inspection only covers what is visible - foundational issues, water leaks, etc. cannot be noted if they're not easily visible.

Ken was great! He arrived a little early so make sure he was there "on time". We really appreciated how professional it all was. He was very thorough in his inspection. He gave us the game plan up front on how he would conduct the inspection that included a detailed explanation as he went along of all his findings as well as including it all in his report. He was also wonderful at answering all of our questions. His suggestions on improving the home were great! We really appreciated how professional it all went and the timeliness of the report. The report was well detailed and had plenty of pictures of not only findings but of improvement areas and general knowledge such as the main water shut off, etc.

My wife and I are first time homebuyers. We hired Ken to inspect our house after reading the great reviews online (to my wife���s credit of course because she does all the research). Every good review was spot on. Ken was very thorough and explained everything as we walked through. He truly does walk through and look at every single aspect as if he was buying the home himself. Ken is also fair. He found problems but also diagnosed, as major or minor issues so there were no surprises. I am also in the building trades for 15 years, so while handy, the issues brought to our attention during the home inspection would have persisted without our knowledge and it was too late. Thorough inspection and detailed report. Scheduled easily and got to apt. On time and even a bit early. Found issues in the place I would not have known prior to purchase.

Buying a home can be a fun, but scary prospect because obviously beyond the cosmetic outside appearance, who knows if it's really a money pit! So you get a home inspection and hope that the person is good and things are OK, with Ken, you get more than good, you get GREAT!! Ken came in and from the introduction, he was kind, personable, professional, and thorough. Before he started, he gave us a rundown of how the inspection would proceed and how he does his job, which made it easy to follow and keep up. Then the inspection began, and Ken was AWESOME. Just like he explained, after each segment of his inspection was done, we would take us through it and explain what was of concern, what was major, what was minor. He took the time to speak, and give examples in way that was understandable and let you know that things were alright, and when to possibly worry, what was a big fix, and what was a small fix and why they were classified as such. He brought a WEALTH of knowledge to us that was amazing to see. He obviously has been doing this for a long time, and it shows. He know old and new products, he knows what is old and current code, he knew it all! His post home report was so detailed and comprehensive. NOTHING WAS MISSED!!! Even things that I missed in looking at the house he found, checked and commented in his report. Needless to say, after a couple hours and looking into every nook and cranny of the house, he put us at ease with our purchase and gave us the information necessary to move on and make the decisions and maintenance that we need in going forward with our home. If you are looking for a great inspector, someone knowledgeable,with a great disposition and an amazing work ethic, honestly if you are looking for the best go with Ken, you will NOT be disappointed!

Inspection was detail. Nothing wasn't miss he pick up on everything

We used Ken for our home inspection. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He explained everything to us in detail every step of the inspection. His report is very detailed and includes high resolution pictures he takes throughout the inspection. I highly recommend using Ken- he was great!

Ken was so knowledgeable and thorough. I was very impressed.

Ken did the Radon test but also performed a whole house inspection for us that was very thorough. I have bought and sold several properties so I am aware of what some other inspection companies are doing for their clients and I can say without reserve that Ken is one of the best in his profession. Hire him. He will not disappoint you. P.S. He is trained and certified to inspect for wood destroying insects and probably other typical inspection needs as well.

Ken was very knowledgable, thorough and professional. He maintained his composure and professionalism, even when the listing agent became irate regarding his honest assessment of specific areas of the home. I felt he inspected the house truly as if he were making the purchase, and informed so that I could make the best decision for myself regarding the home purchase. The report provided was thorough and I especially appreciated the pictures provided to support his assessment. Ken�s customer service and knowledge was superb. Ken is not a �salesman� and thank God he was not �all talk�; he really knows his stuff. Ken provided a thorough and accurate home inspection. My 66 page report was prepared meticulously within 24 hours including color photos of entire home (exterior/interior). His report assisted me in getting the seller to fix/pay for the repairs needed. Both my attorney and agent stated that many other home inspectors don�t even find or report on the items Ken addressed in my home inspection report.
