They gave us names of vendors they work with. Most were very good, but the tile store sent the wrong tile and we encountered some difficulty getting the right tile. Supposedly this was unusual. Work started on time and took slightly longer than projected at the start of the project. The problem with tile may have been the reason. Great effort went into keeping the dust and debris contained, but total success in this was impossible; I do not see this as a problem because it really was impossible. All workers were very polite and professional. Tri-county did a good job of overseeing the subcontractors. We did have a small problem after the project was completed and Tri-county took care of it at once and with no argument. Do expect the estimated time of the project to be on the high end. Do take care that you understand all expenditures because things do come up during the course of a large project that cannot be anticipated in the estimate. That way you won't be surprised.

Building an addition was not something I have done before so I needed help. Tri-County came to me as a referral from an individual who used them for commercial and residential purposes. Tri-County provided me with plenty of additional referrals which I called and all were extremely pleased with their work and professionalism. I reached out to other builders as well and decided to use Tri-County due to price and reputation as a quality builder. Tri-County also provided a very detailed breakdown of all costs so I knew exactly what I was purchasing and for how much. Tri-County even allowed me to purchase certain services and products separately if I desired. I only had to do that with the vanity and top for the bathroom since what I wanted was custom. From the moment Joe came out, he was very professional, walked me through the process and provided me some pictures and references for work Tri-County previously completed as well as work in progress. At no time was there any pressure as I had to sell a property prior to committing to building the addition. That process took the better part of a year. Joe followed up during the course of that year and again, no pressure, just a friendly reminder that he wanted to do the work and to offer any further support in my decision making. The work started in August, 2012 and by mid-October, the Certificate of Occupancy was granted by my township. This timeline was consistent with the estimate provided by Tri-County. Tri-County Development Corp is a top notch company with very knowledgeable management, staff and sub-contractors. The work performed was of utmost quality and the addition was completed on time and within budget. The workers and sub-contractors were very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable and the final product exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this organization to anyone looking for extensive home improvements.
