The HCG Institute

I recently purchased products on two occasions from The HCG Institute. I have lost weight in the past using HCG injections from other medical providers and am very familiar with constituting dry HCG product and filling syringes for use. I have done it numerous times over many years. The product is effective when used as instructed for weight loss. On both of these two purchases, the product I purchased was not as advertised and I ran out of product early. Both times I purchased what is advertised as a 40 day cycle of HCG injections and filled the syringes as instructed. The first order was short 8 days, or 20% less product than I thought I purchased. When I contacted the company to advise of the shortage, I was instructed to photograph any shortages on my next order that had already been placed. When I learned that order was 4 days short of product, I submitted the photographic evidence as requested. With the two orders combined, I was 15% short of product from what was purchased. The company was unwilling to acknowledge a problem or make a price adjustment for the product I did not receive. As a repeat customer who paid $1,110 for their products, I would have expected their customer service representatives to have made some sort of a price adjustment since the product they provided was not as they advertised. I would caution other potential customers to be extremely cautious when dealing with this company as they have demonstrated that they lack integrity and falsely advertise their products unbeknownst to unsuspecting customers and are unwilling to make things right when problems are brought to their attention.
