Dan came out and found and fixed the leak in the system; replaced all missing heads and fixed whatever else was wrong with our system. He also prepared it to be turned on for the summer. Everything was working great! He was very nice and showed me where things were broken and I watched as he fixed them. He patiently answered all of my questions. So, when it came time to turn on the system as he had taught me and it didn’t come on, I called Star Sprinkler immediately! They came out and looked the system over & immediately found & fixed the issue. The best part of all of this is...they are affordable, professional and pleasant. I speak highly of them to my family and friends! Thank u 4 all of ur help & I look 4ward 2 continuing our relationship. God bless u all.

The technician arrived on time, was very knowledgeable and courteous. We are all set for the winter and he made it so it will be easy to turn everything back on in the spring. This is our first time using Star Systems, and we will definitely use them again in the future.

Star Sprinkler Systems did an excellent job with my installation. They showed up on time and got straight to work. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Once they were finished Glenn went over the entire system with me and how to use the controller. He also spent some time giving me valuable tips on how to utilize the system to keep my lawn looking great with minimal impact on my water bill.

We needed the sprinkler system at our new house winterized pronto! My husband left it to the absolute last minute and scrambled tp get our former company out to do it (Water Witch- part of McNaughton's). They made us feel like they were doing us a huge favor, switched times on us and we missed them. I called Star after hours. They returned my call before 9am the next day. Scheduled to have them out the following day. They showed up on time, pointed out some issues with the system (broken sprinkler head and a leak) that former company had not pointed out. We'll be following up with them in the Spring.

Planning and installation were easy. Glen provided a plan that was detailed and straightforward. All quality components were used and the system was complete with top of the line control system from RainBird. The system was programmed after installation and the controls explained. So far it has been a great addition as the summer heat has been a problem for many home owners in the area. Our lawn looks great and I am confident that the system will help keep it that way. No more lugging hoses and sprinklers around the house and trying to do it frequently enough to make a difference. Would do this again in a heart beat and STAR will be there to help in case I have any additional needs as well as maintenance. Cost for installation and maintenance is reasonable making the decision easy.

Star came out and had to work around an existing pool and low voltage lighting.  They were able to avoid any pool plumbing or low voltage wiring.  This seemed tough to me because the lighting location was unknown.  But, they located the wiring by hand digging.  All went in without an issue to the pool plumbing and wiring. 
Here is a sign of a good company. I had several proposals outstanding.  During my initial meeting with the owner I mentioned that I did not want the bed in the front of the house irrigated.  The next day I called and got a second estimate requesting irrigation of that area.  Due to circumstances, i did not enact the contract for three months.  Star went off of the first proposal.  I noticed the lack of irrigation, mentioned it, and they came out right away and installed the front house bed sprinkler. 
This was not a big job for the company and they could have put this off but they responded immediately.  To me, and I have dealt with many, many contractors, this is the mark of a very professional company.  Besides, one of the best landscape designers in the area highly recommends Star Sprinklers and they have lived up to expectations.  I highly recommend this company.

I phoned Star Sprinklers in a panic because the contractor we've had since 2001 stood us up twice, and it was freezing.  Scheduling the call was easy, and the technician, Dan, showed up right on time.  We provided hot water so he could successfully thaw out frozen pipes and blow out the system.  I will definintely be phoning them next spring for other work.

The sprinkler system was in place when I bought my house in Willingboro, NJ.  Prior to using Star Sprinkler System (SSS), I had another company come in and update the system because it was old and not working properly.  Aside from this issue it just seemed like there was always a problem with something or another with this company. 
However, last year we discovered a leak in the system and that company told me that we had to replace the curb side shut off valve.  They quoted me a price that waaaay more than SSS (to the point that it was ridiculous).  I got a quote from yet another company and their price extremely high also.  They didn't even know what a curb side shut off valve was.
I happened to stumble upon SSS and made an appointment for them to come out.  When I opened my front door and saw two young men - I just knew that this was going to be another aweful experience.  I believe these young men were between 18 and 21 years old.  However, they looked a lot younger than they were.  I remember saying to myself "OMG this is going to be a disaster".  I figure they were already there and I have nothing to lose so I told them to proceed.
They went to work and I watched and could tell that they REALLY knew what they were doing.  They got down and dirty, kept me abreast of what was going on, explained exactly what was being done and why.  Not only did they complete the job in a timely fashion, they bought the pipes up to a reachable level, so the next person wouldn't have such a hard time reaching them. 
These young men really knew their stuff.  I called the company and told them how impressed I was these young men.  They ran rings around the other company I was dealing with.  Those are much older guys who claim they've been doing this for soooo many years - yeah right. 
That goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover!!!!!!

It was a really nice experience to have them show up on time (many don't even show up!). The guy was so friendly, patient and helpful. Only thing is I was quoted 85.00 but guy said they will send the bill ??? A little worried that the price will change. I will def follow up regarding this. Seems like a very good company to do business with and I will!
