Dan Higgins Wood Flooring Warehouse

Dan Higgins just completed putting hardwood on our stairs. This is our third experience with Dan Higgins over the past 15 years so not only did this project exceed all of our expectations but the last two flooring projects did as well. Matt and Michael for this latest project were excellent. Courteous, friendly and thoughtful in terms of minimizing disruption, encouraging questions, maintaining a cleaned up environment and having a good attention to detail as they did their work. We give very high marks for the quality of their work and ensuring that we were satisfied with the work.

Dan Higgins Flooring did a wonderful job installing our new luxury vinyl floor in our sunroom. There installation team was prompt, courteous, skilled, and professional. They completed everything in two days as opposed to the original three days anticipated. They cleaned up each day like they had never been working in the area. We absolutely love our new floor and would highly recommend Dan Higgins Flooring to anyone looking to have a new floor installed.

From the very beginning, our sales rep Emma was super helpful with helping us find what we were looking for. We looked at lots of samples and eventually landed on one that needed to be special ordered. They were happy to accommodate. Chuck came out to measure and explain the process. He was great. For installation, George and Rob were polite, skilled, and hard working. We are so happy with our finished product. Our contractor friend came to take a look and he was so impressed! He said his floor guy is nowhere near as talented as George and Rob are. Our floors look amazing thanks to them. We would recommend Dan Higgins to anyone looking to redo their floors! - Ann and John

Dan Higgins is THE best contractor I have ever used. They installed new hardwood floors throughout my whole house and I could not be more pleased. Every phase of the project from Sale to Installation was a pleasure. Anthony and his crew treated my house like their house and did an amazing job on my floors. I'm very happy. No point in going to anyone else for flooring... this is the place to go.

From the showroom where all the options were well explained and the home estimate, they had the patience to deal with our indecisiveness with regards to which wood we wanted.  We were never made to feel like we were wasting their time. 
The wood floors were delivered on schedule about one week before the actual installation, so that it could get acclimatized to our home.
The installation started as expected, they ripped up our downstairs living room and our 2nd floor carpeting (hallway + 4
bedrooms) + closets and replaced them with beautiful hardwood floors.
however, due to some miscalculation from both our part,
we had not dismantled a walk-in closet fixture before they started work there, costing them some time and wood to dismantle work they had already done around it, and replace the portion of affected flooring after we took the fixture down at no additional cost.
and their part,
they came up a bit short on the shoe molding required to finish the job,
the reducers used initially to separate the new living room floor from the surrounding tile floor were a bit thin for any longevity and cracked,
It took a second visit scheduled a short time thereafter to finish the job to our satisfaction.
At all times during this process, Dan and his team kept in touch and ensured we would not be left guessing or unsatisfied, always showed up on time, and did not leave a mess behind them, all things I am finding rarer and rarer these days.
I feel It should also be stated that the commute from their location to our house was one hour each way.

UPDATE:
I called them back 3-4 weeks later to report a squeak and a creak it two high traffic area, and they sent Tim over about a week later to address the issues.  He arrived ahead of schedule, was very courteous and professional and fixed the noisy spots.
Excellent support, even after the original service was complete.

Wood was delivered a week before installation to season it to house environment, over 50 boxes. Installation was estimated to take 3 days. On first day all old flooring was removed and furniture/appliances moved as required by three man crew. Debris was removed and area cleaned prior to installation. Installation proceeded and was completed in three days as estimated. Installers paid attention to fit and cleanliness during work. They answered any questions I had and were great to work with. They setup a sawing station on front porch to modify wood during installation and cleaned up after so no debris or sawdust was left. They really did an excellent job.
