This was an issue in selling an estate. The house had failed buyers inspections twice due to the fact there were two pole jacks supporting the main beam which were insufficient, and the main beam was cracked and twisted. After working with an structural engineer recommended by the realtor and having the details of what needed to be done we contacted Stan having found him though Angie's List. He responded to our call the first day, set up a meeting to view the work by day 2. He coordinated wih the structual engineer and came up with a plan to replace the beam and add to lolly columns. Once everything came together the work was completed by Stan and a helper within two days. Everything went great. Stan is a real craftsman with plenty of experience. The best part was he was a true professional, that responded to all our needs. We couldn't have asked for more, and are extremely satisfied with the work.

The guy who runs the company is always personally involved in the project so he's there every day doing work. He and his buddy are the only two guys that work on it. I actually under paid him one time and he just waited for the balance right down the street. I really don't have any problems with them.

We had a house fire on Mother's day....My Mom is 89 years old and this house was originally built in 1900. We wanted to put things back as close as we could with some modern touches. The reconstruction went great..It was quite the challenge vs building something new. The house was torn down to the studs and many of them had to be rebuilt .Stan from Unlimited Building Services (owner) was very professional . always pleasant......He did everything he said they would do and more.They responded to all our questions at all times, always called back and always a found a solution to whatever situation we may have come across... the craftsmanship is exceptional... much attention paid to detail....we just can't say enough.....every room on all 3 floors had to be rebuilt...all work was coordinated and executed in a timely fashion. We were never in the dark about anything, and nothing was done without our approval. Clean Up was great..garbage was always taken away....We can't say enough good things.. all contractors should be this good and this professional. Like I said this was a challenge and I am so glad we got the right company to do the job!!!! I highly recommend Stan from Unlimited Building Services.

Stan is a do-everything man and he does a great job at it all. He sistered multiple floor joists in my basement (which had either been cut by previous owners or water damaged) and one in-between the upper floor and the entry level to deal with water damage from a leaky drain. My crawlspace door was previously just a rotting piece of wood leaning against the cement wall, but Stan replaced it and bolted it down into the concrete (I have a half crawl-space, half basement, so there is no purpose to the hatch door anyway). He opened up my upstairs floor to inspect the girder holding up the entire floor, it was indeed legit and I had no reason to worry, but the peace of mind provided by this simple inspection helped me sleep at night. I was especially thankful of the job he was able to do with the leaky drain upstairs. Troubleshooting the fasteners did no good and eventually Stan and his partner ended up filling the whole thing with sealant. In truth the entire shower should probably be re-seated, but this would have been incredibly expensive (and involved a remodel of the bathroom upstairs) and I was on a limited budge so I greatly appreciated this alternative fix. Overall Stan is a very professional and knowledgeable contractor. Beyond the services I actually contracted Stan for, he was very informative about other, unrelated questions I had about some potential problems in the house. If you need a go-to guy to fix up your place, Stan is the man!

As i mentioned above, we hired Unlimited Building Services to put an addition on our house in 2005. We basically doubled the size of the house. There were many issues to deal with when we did the addition. The original house was old and figuring out a way to blend the addition with the original house was tough. We worked with an architect but there were many issues that came up that without a competent general contractor to help us through them it would have been a costly mess. Unlimited Building Services will provide you with a competitive bid, give you an accurate time line as to the work being finished.. I think more than anything I appreciated the communication he provided. He did not just disappear. If we had a question he was responsive, never condescending and always open to suggestions. I met with 5 different general contractors/builders and even though some of them were slightly cheaper than Unlimited Building Services, they were handling multiple jobs and made me feel like a number and not a customer paying for quality service. Stan and his crew are professional, honest, and their work is exceptional. I couldn't be more pleased by both our addition and our new bedroom.
