GATEWAY LANDSCAPING

I called Gateway in June of 2017 and the office staff was very responsive. I have used them before in the past and they were very responsive and fats and quick with their services they provide. Andrew came out to give me an estimate and he had a lot of knowledge on Landscaping. He came the next day of the estimate with a design of the landscaping and told me a price for $2,550. I told him to go ahead on the work and he told me he would get the work completed by the end of the week. I came home on Friday evening and the entire job was completed within one day. When I came home I was very surprised and satisfied of the work they did. I highly recommend them they are a QUALITY Landscaping company. Other Landscapers can not do what they do in one day.

This is the second time I used Gateway in about 10 years.  I had a very good experience the first time but this most recent job, I felt the company cut corners.   I had multiple trees and stomps removed in my backyard by a Professional Tree Removal Co. The property was a mess with wood chips and tiny red rocks from the previous owners landscaping.  I asked Gateway to remove the red rocks and tree wood chips, grade the property, top soil and seed for grass.  I have an irrigation system so watering was not a problem.   Andrew and I discussed the job in my backyard and agreed on price.  Within a few days the job was started.  At first I thought the job was performed well but it wasn't until the hay from the grass seed disintegrated that I realized the red rocks were never completely removed from the property and the grass was not growing evenly.  One year later, the grass did not grow well and I have red rocks scattered along the perimeter of my property and in various areas of the yard preventing the grass from growing.  In conclusion, I believe I spent a lot of money and did not receive quality work.  I recently became a member of Angie's List and felt this job warranted a review.

Went very well. Andrew & his crew do good work. A bit on the expensive side.

The owner is very friendly, very prompt. They got the job done really quick, like in a week. The price is fair.

First, we left a message and they called back promptly where other places we called didn't even bother calling us back. Andrew came over and drew up a plan for us to review and gave us an estimate. I have to say how Andrew took his time with us and the estimate. He is extremely nice and wanted to go over all the details of the plan. We called within a few days and said yes to the job. They couldn't give us a specific start time and both my husband and I work, but they said that was not a problem. So I came home one Friday to see them working like crazy. They did my whole landscaping job within 2 days. And Andrew was there to work and oversee that everything was done how he had planned. It came out terrific. We got great compliments on it from family and neighbors. They even fixed up around a tree that we have by taking out all the weeds and adding the small red rocks to the area and this wasn't even part of the estimate.

Owner is hands-on top of his workers and the progress of the project. Good work crew that got the job done.
