I chose him because he was local, he quoted about 200. he showed up on time. he was here literally less then 10 minutes and charged 225 + tax. not sure why it went up - i know its not a lot but i thought it might possible even be less, considering the time he spent.

Chris had to crawl a long way wearing short sleeves and short pants; got to give him props for that; the repair went smoothly and quickly; the cost was reasonable but did not care for the $250 "crawl space" charge which was not specified beforehand; the toilet bowl repair also went smoothly and quickly and the cost was reasonable.

Chris came in once, and assessed the issue perfectly. He described the options and the possibilities; gave me an out, saving me hundreds. He came back once, as there was a 2nd problem for the leak unrelated to the 1st. No complaints at all!

Chris Kristen Plumbing and Heating had someone here on time. He got the job done in less than an hour. I was happy to have the work done, but the price was outrageous for a simple hook-up job. All of my friends have told me I got ripped off.
