Joe responded very quickly to our phone call, came over within a couple of days to give us an estimate. He showed great knowledge in how the facade had been made. He gave us a very reasonable price and came back on schedule in a few days and completed the job. Everything was excellently done including the clean up. I have used Centimole Masonry a year ago for replacement of sidewalk sections and for redesign/replacement of steps down to home entry walk. (After 50 years the entry steps were no longer conforming in rise-to-run requirements and were deteriorated. Joe provided a redesign using brick risers, cement steps and 6" w x 2"d dress borders and step treads. He made several trips to his supplier to assure perfect bluestone match and to assure he brick riser colors conformed to the stione front of the house.  It was masterful.  Joe Centimole is a true craftsman who has high standards and who provides the best materials, schedule and installation services). 

The slope from house to curb is 10' drop in 50'.  At the sidewalk settling had caused the old asphalt-composit pipe to break which caused flooding at the walkway. This would be a hazard in freezing conditions at the walk and at the near-bye driveway apron. 

Joe removed the 20' of old sidewalk and it became apparent that there would be insufficient elevation to get under the walk and connect to the curb cut.  After discussing several alternatives with we elected to repave the walkway.  Joe used  reinforcing grid under the drive apron.

Later he cut and removed a 6" strip of asphalt at the driveway base at the house-side of the new sidewalk.  He excavated an  additional 10" of soil across the drive and then extended the trench 6' up hill to a 90 degree connection to the pipe. He then extended the trench 12' down hill on the other side of the drive to another 90 degree bend.  That permitted enough elevation change to reach the curb.  He sawcut the sidewalk at this point and extended the trench to a new curb cut.  Using PVC 40 he piped the route and connected to the french drain and curb cut.  He backfilled the soil, replaced the concrete sidewalk section and curb cut, then refilled the driveway cut with new asphalt.

As usual he left the property pristine.

Our outdoor steps were falling apart and installed incorrectly, so after waiting a significant amount of time for quotes from other companies, we decided to contact Centimole and we would highly recommend hiring them if you need any work done.  They were very responsive and professional and did a great job!

Mr. Centimole was a pleasure to deal with. He gave us a quote for the work to be performed within a week after he inspected the areas that needed repair. Work commenced about a week and a half after we accepted his proposal. The following items were repaired: paver walkway had to be partially removed and reset in new concrete/paver base. Tuck-pointed side walls and top surfaces of steps leading to our front door. Workmanship and attention to detail was flawless. The work spanned one and a half days. Mr. Centimole and his assistant left the work area spotless. We will retain his services in the near future for another area of concern in our house.  I highly recommend his work.

He repaired the brick steps in front of our house. They were built in 1989 and Joe was willing to do the repair instead of replacing them. He carefully sawed every single joint, widened them and placed new mortar in them. He power washed the bricks before and after, then applied a sealer coat for protection.
The sidewalk right next to our house had three cracks in it. Joe filled them with a rubberized compound that will shrink and grow as appropriate as the temperature changes. This will prevent future cracks from happening.
I would definitely use Joe again. He treated our property with the same care as if it was his own. I highly recommend him.

Great. When I called for the estimate they called back the same day, came out and gave me an estimate the next day and completed the job a few days later. Both the woman I spoke to in the office and Joe the mason were very pleasant and professional. The work was completed as promised, no additional charges and the workplace was left neat and clean.

Everything when perfectly.  I was able the next day, later that afternoon,  to drive over the surface as Joe had said would be fine by then.   It wasn't the first time I used Centimole Masonary.  On two previous occasion, with two sections of a sidewalk, and a sidewalk on my backyard in-ground pool that had been sunken down.
In all cases Joe was exceptional, and professional with going about the work that I wanted done.  Especially the walkway along the pool; which I inherited when I purchased the home in 1983.  In was 2007, when I asked Joe to see if he could do anything with the poll walkway, after he had made the repairs with the side walk in the front of my house.

I had already had one mason work on the drainage problem and that mason did not fix it.  Mr. Centimole came when promised, did the work, and fixed it correctly.  Have not had a problem since Mr. Centimole worked on the pavers.

Very well, on time, Cleaned up after very day of work. Job took three days as stated. New wall is very well built. There are very experienced professional masons.

Joe Centimole, the owner, came the same day that I called to provide an estimate.  He definitely knows his stuff, is a gentleman and not high pressure.  He was wonderful to work with.  After considering his suggestions and price (and after other estimates), I gladly called him to ask a few more questions and to authorize the work with him.  He scheduled the job about a week later.  Joe was on the scene each day doing much of the work himself and supervising his other employees.  He is a perfectionist.  I am extremely happy with how the project turned out.  I am getting lots of compliments from neighbors.  I would call on Joe again to do more projects for me if the need arises.

Really went great. Came to house to quote the job and later confirmed that they could get matching brick. We had time constraints due to selling the house, but had to wait until the weather improved. Joe Centimole assured me he would get in and do the job just as soon as the weather cleared. He did just as promised. He found the cause of the problem and fixed it. It looks great, was done on time and the price was reasonable. What more can you ask for! I highly recommend them.

Joe was very prompt in coming to look at the chimney. He later came back to measure the chimney and use his camera to check if the flu below the roof was flaking. Joe gave me a choice of two different bricks and wrote up a proposal. I knew he was going to be expensive since I had read the previous reviews. I also knew I could trust him because he got good reviews on Angie's list. He and his men rebuilt the chimney, including replacing the flu above the roof line, in 2 days. He came back on the third day with his son to remove the forms at the top of the chimney. They also inspected the pipe coming out of the boiler to verify that cement hadn't fallen down the flu. The chimney looks very good.
