Bob was extremely responsive, came out to look at the job, told me he would work up an estimate within a couple of days, and did exactly that. He provided a WRITTEN quotation along with a photo of our house with the proposed work superimposed. Unfortunately, I dragged my feet on it, and when I was finally ready to move ahead, he once again was very responsive and called me right back when I left a message. When I told him I needed the job to be done within a week, he was honest and told me it was impossible due to his current backlog of work. I have to say that although I wasn't able to use him (due to my own procrastination), it was refreshing to deal with someone who is very responsive and honest.
Description of Work: We were looking to get some landscape work done on the front of our home.

Description of Work: Removed and legally disposed of 40 year old dilapidated railroad tie wood wall 5'Hx60' long. Replaced with two-step terraced block walls, each 3'H separated by 5'W island complete with two rows of 24 rhododendrons and 24 small evergreens. Wall constructed with footer-drains which were interconnected and tied to drains on high-side neighbors down-spouts and then interconnected to sumped storage drain which exits to street. Drainage design solved flooding problem and relieved pressure that caused original wall collapse. Design met ordinance height which, had it been constructed in one step would have required extensive engineering permits, soil borings, etc. Additionally, constructed two borders in front of home of similar blocks, 3-high by 60'L around existing shrubs and filled with red gravel to house foundation. Many neighborhood compliments on appearance. Excellent solution that has worn well. Recommend Bob Zefiro and his crew.
