It all went very bad. He hired a lawyer and kept me busy in court while he ripped off other people. He did not pay his roofing supplier and has a $150,000 judgment against him that he will not pay. The police at first found it difficult to believe my story. He has (had) such a great reputation but his fall was quick, just like Bernie Madoff, the people that trusted him were his biggest victims. Read the article in the Courier Post and online about him being arrested because he did not pay his partner the promised split of profits - he took it all himself in August of 2015. This man has only been in this country since 1992 - he has ties to Italy and I fear that he will have more victims and take more of his ill gotten gains back to Italy with him. Moorestown police finally arrested him for forging the contract - they looked at the evidence, and it was overwhelming. The man lied to the judge, and swore he was telling the truth, but the hand writing was the dead give away - he wrote my name and swore that I wrote it - all you have to do is look at it and it is obvious that it was his hand writing. So my home is in a shambles and I am at a risk of losing it. He has all the insurance money. My top floor is completely gutted, no walls, floors, ceilings, insulation - nothing - and I am at risk for losing the depreciation amount of the insurance money if I do not get the work done soon. I am desperately looking for an honest contractor to take on this job. The first and most important part is the board and plaster and insulation. Without that I cannot do anything. I hope someone will give me a fair price and do a good job repairing my 3rd floor unit.
