Working with Nuss was fantastic! I started working with them in early spring to bring the laundry up from the basement, add a small addition, and rework the layout to add a half bathroom. The process of planning ahead of time seems so simple, yet it made such a huge difference compared to others I have worked with. When the team arrived in July, they hit the ground running. I was impressed that they had a schedule printed that they gave to me and stuck to it! They even were able to start a few days early and so finished up early. Additionally, the whole team was fabulous and almost felt like a part of the family by the time they were done. They were great with my dog and son who were always very curious about what was happening. I will definitely use them again for future projects!

Can't say enough good about Nuss Const. We have used them for five home projects, and they never disappoint. The Front Office is friendly, helpful and efficient. The estimates are clear, and suggestions were made to save time and money, the workmen are efficient, courteous and clean, there is never a mess. We will use them in the future.

.Gutter was replaced with no problem. Work on fascia & trim w/caulking was a mess. Complained to general manager about poor job & they sent someone else out to fix issues & had to redo entire job. Second time was done professionally & up to our expectations. They were polite courteous in handling my complaint & agreed to redo the work at no extra cost. Except for the initial poor work, this company was a pleasure to deal with.

My father wanted substantial renovations made to his 100+-year-old home. Nuss Construction met with us to determine what we wanted to do and the budget for the project. Nuss kept us up-to-date on all developments and met with us often, working around our schedules. They made the process of picking finishings and fixtures easy. They drew up a detailed contract and began ordering items. Unfortunately, the Township stalled on the paperwork and eventually denied the application. My father did not want to invest thousands of dollars more on Township fees, and wait several more months for work to begin. So, he decided to move rather then renovate the home he had lived in for most of his life. My father paid for items that could not be returned (they were donated to charity), the engineering report and drawings, and Township fees.

I had no problem with the roof per se. The problem came when we lost part of the roof after Storm Sandy - 50 miles away. I called them to come out and look at it. They wanted payment to come even come out. The roof may have been under warrantee but not for them to come look at the situation. Very strange. I had someone else fix it. I would never use them again.

"I pulled the roof contract for the roof we did in 2009. I have not notes of any concerns of your unhappiness. When Sandy hit in 2012 we got hundreds of calls to come look at people roofs. New customers we didn't even have time to address but existing customers we were willing to visit for a charge of 125.00 It was never our intention to offend you or upset you by requesting payment for that inspection. I have called you today and left a message requesting to speak to you about your experience."

Our sales rep (Cagney Matthews) was phenomenal. He successfully pitched us on Nuss's experience, skill level, and dedication to quality. He also did everything in his power to keep us happy when things went wrong. That being said sales is only one part of a company and when it comes to home renovation it turns out to be the least important part. We hired Nuss to do a very simple job, remove a 6 ft wall dividing our dinning room and kitchen. Cagney showed up on time to give us a quote for the project. He was extremely thorough in assessing the job and even called on an architect familiar with the construction of our neighborhood to ensure there were no surprises with the job after he presented the quote. They weren't the cheapest option but were easily the one we trusted most. When the job was scheduled to start a Nuss employee showed up right on time, properly protected our house, and went right to work. We were very impressed right off the bat. Unfortunately the work performed by the employee was severely subpar. The header installed was cocked eyed and not level, the existing hardwood floor he cut was chipped beyond repair, and the finish on the drywall had enormous streaks and chunks in it. We paid for a paint ready finish and the initial finish was far from it. After bringing the short falls of the work to Cagney's attention he came out to inspect the work, agreed with our assessment and had a different employee come out to fix the issues. The second employee did a much better job with the finish and did his best to fix the inadequate work previously done. Again unfortunately some of the poor work done by the previous employee, mainly the damage to our existing hardwood floor and a poorly laid row of tiles were "unfixable". We again brought these short falls to Cagney's attention who tried to ease our concern with suggestions such as "take a brown sharpie to the chips on the floor,....you'll never notice". At this point it became apparent that our project was no longer profitable for the company and the owners were unwilling to refund or properly fix the problems. Our hardwood floor is badly chipped, we spent several hour spackleing and smoothing a poor drywall finish so we could paint, and we moved our dining room table so it covers up the misaligned row of tile leading into our kitchen. All things we can live with but not things we expected to deal with when paying a premium price for a supposedly premium renovation company. Long story short if you own a business in need of a great sales rep recruit Cagney Matthews (seriously he was phenomenal), if you need a small home reno done right find a company who specializes in that not one who sends they're C team to work on your personal property because the project isn't worth there A teams attention.

Yes there were concerns with the quality from the first carpenter, once made aware that weekend we had the problem corrected and Joe agreed the project was completed to their satisfaction. Cagney had even followed up to confirm the customer was satisfied. I am sorry to hear their is a customer that is unhappy with our services and would of loved the opportunity to address the situation if there was an issue after we addressed."

I called 3 companies to get this job scheduled and Nuss was the only one that had someone in the office. Salesman (John) was wonderful. Met with him about the job. They started the job Tuesday, and came back Thursday and Friday to finish. 3 days!!! It cost less than what I thought it would which was great. Joel was the foreman with Joe, Eric, and Earl to round out the crew. Joel scheduled everything perfectly and took all of the worry away from me. The yard looked better when they left than when they arrived! I will definitely use them again the future!

Excellent. They are the only company I will use. They are excellent, I would not consider any other contractor. They did a back railing. They did all of my gutter, the rain gutters, they did all of those. They put in a new door for me. What sticks out is their quality. They are very professional and they do good quality work.

We hired Nuss Construction because they were by far the most professional organization that provided us with a work estimate. They took photos, made detailed notes and spent the time with us to understand our needs.
Harry O'Neill did an excellent job of representing his company and making us feel comfortable.It did take a while for them to process our contract so that they could begin the job. I had asked them if they were going to use subcontractors to do the repair work. They told us they would not (except for carpeting & flooring). I was surprised when a subcontractor showed up to do the work. However, I must say he was extremely professional, detail-oriented and called me to keep me up to date on his progress.
The job was finished on time and the work was excellent.
We paid more to use Nuss Construction, but they were worth it. I would recommend them highly.

Installation was excellent and no imperfections were visible by me or the homeowner insurance inspector who later went on the roof to inspect the job. There was a slight delay in installing a replacement attic fan but this was because they later recommended that the attic fan would interfere or become useless due to the ridge vents that I requested added to the job. I was satisfied with the terms and that each stage of the job, including clean up, were thoroughly completed. The billing department politely followed up to make sure I was satisfied before making my final installment payment. I was impressed by the supervisor on site who closely worked with the roofers to make sure the job was done exactly, unlike other jobs were supervision is lacking due to the supervision being overworked because of being understaffed on the job. The neighbors seemed to be impressed as well and eagerly hired Nuss Construction as soon as our job was done. If you're going to do an important job like replacing a roof, whatever lower price they give you won't be worth it if they do a shoddy job. Nuss Construction charged a price that wasn't cheap but it was competitively in the middle of the pack compared to other price quotes and it was well worth it to get the assurance I would get the best possible job done. They worked with me to reduce the price. The consultant who gave my initial price quote was very professional and helpful and even informally gave me advice by seeing a problem I had with a prior roof job at another property. Hiring contractors for big jobs is always something I do not enjoy because of your lack of control of the situation. I keep dreading that they will take advantage of your lack of knowledge or time constraints, etc. I was relieved to know that, for Nuss, those fears never materialized. All in all, this is what I would hope every contractor would be like; do a great job and being fair and honest and upfront without any deceptive or pushy sales tactics and no surprises!!

They did a great job and we found them very helpful. They were always on time. We never had an issue with them showing up. They gave us suggestions to cut costs where we could and were very professional. They were not they cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for and they were worth it.

They were very reliable and very good. However, they were very expensive. I checked other companies and they were the highest. They were recommended to me by a friend. The work they did was wonderful. They were on time and cleaned up well. One of the workmen started a fire on the corner of my house, but it was totally an accident. They took care of everything and paid for all the repairs. They are a very good company, but very expensive.
