After waiting about 2 months after my first call, they got the part in and fixed the ice maker, but the repairman forgot to put the shutoff arm on the icemaker so ice would be made continuously unless we unplugged it. After more calls, a technician came out, but put the wrong arm on. After they cancelled one appt they came out again and said they would order a new icemaker with the proper arm. They came out the next day (which was great), but they had the wrong part.
The additional problem is that I work outside my home and everytime they have to come out, I have to leave work to meet them. I have had to do this at least 5 times and the icemaker still isn't properly working.
I still don't have the shutoff arm on my icemaker and Albo is arranging to get service directly from the manufacturer.

I had A Plus Appliances come out to fix our Electrolux Gas Dryer on September 30, 2011 because it was making a very loud noise. We agreed to the price because I need to use the dryer every day, it was a contact number given by Electrolux, and A Plus Appliances had said just for coming out was $90. The technician who initially came told my husband he would be back in a couple days and we had to give him $150 of the $230. When he left, we realized he hadn't put back teh dryer completely, as screws were lying around.
For the next two weeks, I called A Plus Appliances every few days to see if the parts were in and they were coming back to fix the dryer. They never called me to say that the parts were in and they were scheduling to come out and finish the job. I finally did get someone to answer and tell me they would come out today, October 19, 2011. A different technician arrived on time and said he fixed the dryer. He then told me the balance was $180. I said the balance was "$80" and he replied "$180". We looked together at the invoice and confirmed it was "$80". I am very thankful that I didn't use the dryer after he did leave because he never reconnected the hose that led to outside the house.
This experience was a disaster. I am sorry this is not a company we can trust because we do own a lot of appliances. I am glad I can submit a report because I am convinced this company has no concerns about their customer or the service they provide.

They took my downpayment and ordered several parts. When the parts arrived, many were wrong. They repaired some things only for the fridge to break again several weeks later. They never were timely in responding to my inquiries. Nobody ever seemed to know what was going on with my case. Months and months went by and no parts, no contact, no one following up with me. Finally they show up at my door ( no appointment made with me) and again they could not finish the job. Their service was horrible. I was referred to them from the refrigerator manufacturer so I assumed they were reputable.

Horribly! I would never call this service contractor again. Their Service department people are not concerned with their customers at all, they have no regard for the need to get a major appliance up and running in a timely matter. Electrolux had given me a parts concession-meaning I didn't have to pay for the part and the repair company would get full reimbursement if they ordered the part through Electrolux, but APLUS didn't want to use them, preferring to put me off endlessly. I have been without a working dishwasher for three weeks, for a repair that needn't have taken nearly so long. I am very unhappy!

DO NOT use these guys!! they are a waste of time!! I'm still waiting for it to be fixed and its been broken since JANUARY! When they first came out they said - be careful, this could burn your house down! Oh great!! But have they fixed it...NO!!!
