Bob gives you the ultimate experience with back yard design and pools. I can only speak fondly of him and his professionalism. We had a custom designed front facade and a full backyard done, and it is nothing but beautiful. I recommend Bob for his honestly, promptness and keeping his word on what needs to be done.

We continue to use RTK Designs over and over again as we are constantly making updates and changes to our home and they continue to impress each time.  Bob has proven to be both talented and knowledgable in all aspects of design and construction, both indoor and outdoor, and executes our projects flawlessly each time, guiding us through the process with honesty and genuine concern for our best interest. We look forward to working with him and his team again and again.

They were great! We had a wonderful experience with them. We used them multiple times. It was wonderful! They did a great job. They came in right on budget and it was done in a really timely manner. They were very professional, the workers were very knowledgeable, they cleaned up after themselves, and everything was detailed and meticulous. I think they are really knowledgeable and very innovative in their work. They are really honest so there were no surprises.

Not well.  As I am writing this, the sink installed by Bob Kayes crew is leaking.  In the last phone conversation I had with the owner, Bob Kaye, he was livid because the job was taking 7 days instead of 5. His lead man Vic, had an emergency and was not able to work one day. When Vic suggested I give him $500 of the $1300 owed, Bob threatened to charge me an additional $2,000.00.  He also threatened to put a lean on my house if I did not pay him in full, although the following work was not completed:
-Capping of the microwave vent outside ( a whole was left outside the house)
-adjustment of all cabinet doors & hinges
-damaged door( buy crew) not installed with handle
-molding not installed
-grout not matched 
Bob was angry because my husband was not happy with some of the quality of the work and insisted that errors be fixed.  Bob was also angry  because he thought my husband made his men put a water filter on on refrigerator line when he just made Vic replace the existing filter which his men took off our main line.He also said we made his men do work not in the contract. 
Frankly, I did not pay Bob the $1300 for fear of the lean, but he was so angry and enraged, I though he was going to have a heart attack!  I just wanted the whole fiasco over with. My husband may be a perfectionist, however, what Bob did was extremely unprofessional.  He promised he would send Vic to complete the work, but never did.  My husband completed most of it himself.

The work is fantastic! I think for us it has been the owners’ knowledge and he is really honest. He really knows what he is talking about and has made us very comfortable. This is our first home and that has been very important to me.

There were a couple things that happened when they were finished.  RTK took care of all compliance issue in regards to permits. Any issues we had after the fact such as accidentally cutting the doorbell and disconnecting the cable have been corrected.

I discovered RTK Design Group after the owner, Bob Kaye, completely gutted and refinished our best friend's basement, which blew us away and both inspired us to finally pull the trigger on our own home and work with the company that transformed their house.  We contracted Bob to rip out our master bath and a second full bath in our basement and design and build us two brand new bathrooms.  The result was more than we could have ever asked for, I honestly feel as though RTK's work has changed the look and feel of our entire home.  Bob was so up front and straight forward from the beginning and gave us everything we imagined, his plans & estimates gave us a few different options and we were able to create our dream without compromising on price or product.  We hand picked everything from the shower tile to the faucets to the vanity mirrors and he talked us through all of it to make the experience exciting and easy.  His experience and innate talent are apparent and his team was both efficient and flawless.  I am thrilled with the outcome and would work with RTK Design Group again and again. 

After moving in to a brand new home with no landscaping and an unfinished basement, we contracted RTK Design Group to do a complete landscape design & installation including front yard, back yard, custom outdoor kitchen, patio and fire pit as well as a custom finished basement complete with a full wet bar and creation of a full bathroom.  We also required design and installation of a built-in wall unit across our family room wall as well as the sourcing of patio furniture for both our front porch and back yard.  RTK wildly surpassed our expectations, designing and executing each space to our exact specifications and making every dream become a reality.  Bob Kaye walked us through each step of the process from conceptualization and design to choosing the perfect stones, tiles, moldings, outdoor appliances, patio furniture, the list goes on and on.  It was most important to us to be able to choose one designer that we knew would handle all of our needs, from concept to construction, both indoor and out, which is not an easy task, and Bob managed not only to do so with ease, a wealth of knowledge, impeccable taste and an incredible team, but remained true to his word every step of the way from price and quality to time line and of course final outcome.  Every inch of our yard and basement are phenomenal and our friends and family are blown away every time they pull up to the house and walk through the door.  We received countless pitches and price quotes and while Bob was not necessarily the cheapest, nor the most expensive, we had a great feeling about him and his company from the beginning and he absolutely proved that you get what you pay for and you should always go with your gut.  We could not be happier with our choice and the work of RTK design group and would recommend and use them over and over again, as we plan to do with each improvement and addition to our home moving forward.
