Although the receptionist and salesperson at PMI were very friendly, it was difficult for A.W. Eurostile to get an actual quote from PMI. (They kept leaving phone messages for PMI to call back.) As it turns out, the broken slab pieces were originally not for sale and PMI didn't know what to charge. I finally got a quote from A.W. Eurostile, and although it was very high, I agreed to pay it. (I know Blue Labradorite is very expensive.) But I have no idea how much PMI charged or how much A.W. Eurostile marked it up. I don't want to share this experience or these marks because this was an unusual experience for PMI and I believe this would have no bearing on their handling a regular granite slab purchase.

The estimate was for about $3000. I came to know of them from a friend. We are not yet finished. There is one piece left that they're going to install, but they need to send their template guy out again to measure because the work is still in progress. We are almost done. They are very good. I like them. They are not perfect and had made some mistakes. They had corrected whatever mistakes they had made. They brought it out and started to install it. I found that it was cut just short of where it was supposed to go. They took it away. Now they're going to send somebody out to redo it because they're not sure whether they measured it. Everything that they put in has been really good. They did a really nice job.
