Helen was extremely responsive and able to accomodate short notice and my time needs. She came over and reviewed all the recommendations we had to address water issues along 3 sides of the house. She also provided excellent suggestions to address what to plant, what to remove from the entire property. She nixed ideas certain landscaper/masonery people had provided, and was able to clearly explain what was needed to optimize solving the water problems. She was able to identify why a plant died and link it to the water problem and its lowest point. She also could advise that we can afford to eliminate some of the roots from a treee without compromising the tree health. She provided solutions for a small strip of garden by driveway. She also gave good input for replacing sidewalk on side of house, and which proposals made the most sense. She also made suggestions to further enhance the property/yard by strategic placement of certain type of small tress, or bushes, how to renovate the rear gardens and hedges, how to create a more blended asthetic between the walkway and rear gardens. We were thrilled and felt better informed about which direction to go. We avoided what would have been costly mistakes. Love to work with her on a bigger project, tremendous confidence in her approach and style. This contrasted sharply with someone else that wanted to do a large survey of property, and take several weeks to provide a plan. We really did not have that type of time since wanted to get this work done and in place before late fall/winter.
