I did not get to experience their services/work, but I emailed them three (3) times through Angie's List over the past two (2) months to schedule a visit for an estimate and they never responded. I rated them a 'D

They came to install when they said they would: however, they did not discard the old railings per the contract. I had to call and then wait until they were in the area again. I waited a few days then my neighbor discarded them for me.

I needed 2 railings fabricated and installed on my front porch. They showed up much later than the appointment time to measure and I was given a rough estimate. He told me that they would email me the actual estimate the next day. It took almost a week to get the email with the estimate, which was considerably higher than the rough estimate I received when they took the measurements. I noticed that they were charging me to fabricate and install 3 railings instead of just the 2 that I needed. I sent them an email asking for an explanation and I received an email back very shortly and the woman stated that she would need to check the discrepancy with the man who did the measurements. I never heard back from them. I sent another email requesting clarification on the estimate. As of this date, I still have never heard back from them. They completely blew me off. Don't waste your time with this company, they don't care about their customers.

Highly skilled installers. Very professional. The railings exceeded my expectations! I am planning on them installing railings on my front porch.

They had a beautiful selection, their pricing was good and they were very responsive.

Overall an excellent job. Looks great!

Macaro iron Works   was our choice after visiting three other like businesses in our area .

Their showroom was very well stocked  w a unique selection of design/material options.

Their expertise and  willingness to assist w our dimension parameters including colors did make a favorable impression on us in the early stages.

They did have the best pricing for our budget and Bryan C.  and Joe reviewed  very carefully just how the railings would be installed. We had a medical  need for quick/installation and they were able to meet our needs a week sooner !!!

The installation team were very well experienced , they did exemplary work. They only took about 2 house from start to finish..

Many neighbors have commented favorably on "our new look"

Anytime we are asked ,  we shall  recommend Macaro Iron Works .. It had been a very pleasant experience for us.

 

The provider was prompt and very professional. He showed up the day after we called with all the samples in the back of his truck. One can select the design and the colour of paint right on the spot. The quote was Emailed to us the very night. The price is very reasonable when compared with others. The railing was installed about three weeks later. They did a great job !

Two men arrived in the morning to install the railing. The railing is fine and looks very nice HOWEVER...these two installers apparently snagged the railing they were about to install on wires attached to my house and totally dislodged those wires. I lost all of my cable service...phone, tv and internet. They had to have known that they did this, but they never said a word. I was without service for an entire day. When I called the Macaro office the following day to inform them, I was met with total silence. The woman who answered said nothing....no sorry....no...let me look into it......absolutely nothing. She just wanted permission to charge my credit card. In hindsight, I should'nt have given it to her, but I was so upset that I wasnt thinking clearly. I am not used to dealing with people like this and will never use them again or recommend them to anyone else.
In addition to downing my cable service, they also left a sawed off piece of railing on the ground for someone, like my grandkids, to possibly get hurt on.

On the recommendation of a carpenter who was building my deck I called and arrange for them to come out and measure my deck for railing and a few gates. They were out the next day and took measurements. The following day (Saturday) my wife and I visited their showroom met with the owner and worked out the design details. On the following Monday I had an email with the final estimate. They were very punctual and professional.
We did not go with them as we had started working with another firm much earlier who finally came through on the same day with an estimate that was about $500 higher, but had an 'A' rating on Angies list so I went with the higher estimate. Big mistake!
