Zappulla Property Inspections, LLC
About us
Experience matters when selecting a home inspector. Your home will be one of the largest purchases you will make in your lifetime. Don't put in the hands of a home inspector with minimal experience. I was Grandfathered in as a NJ State Home Inspector in 2003 before you were required to be licensed. I will personally inspect your home, not a recently licensed inspector or associate inspector. I have performed 6000 home inspections and will use that experience along with a family masonry background and state of the art tools to perform a honest, detailed and thorough assessment of your home. I come prepared to work and work for you. I will crawl through and get into areas most inspectors don't or can't. I will perform the inspection to the best of my ability to protect your interest so you can make an informed decision. We will discuss the findings of the inspection while at the house and I will also provided a detailed narrative report. I am also a BBB accredited A rated business.

"Thank you very much."
Dave completed a home inspection and radon test. He was very professional, arriving on-time and ready to go to work. He was very thorough and explained everything he was looking for as he went through the three hour inspection. Dave was flexible with his schedule: we were under a time constraint and he was able to accommodate us on short notice. He provided many good tips on maintenance and repairs during the inspection, and also provided a number of contacts for electricians, plumbers, etc. This was very helpful in that we are new to the area and all of the contacts he provided have been very good as well. His report was well written, easy to understand and he used photographs where needed to illustrate an issue. He picked up on one potentially significant issue with ventilation and suggested we consult with the local township inspector (this was a new house) and a specific HVAC contractor. We followed both recommendations and are glad we did as we now fully understand what we should do about it. After the report was sent to us, we had a number of followup questions and Dave responded to our emails and phone calls promptly, usually the same day. Overall, Dave's professionalism and thoroughness were much appreciated and we can highly recommend his services.
He arrived right at the scheduled time and was very pleasant to talk to. Definitely knows his stuff. He spent over 3hrs taking a look at everything. Prior to my inspection I had binged on the show Holmes on Home to know get familiar with the typical inspection pitfalls and Dave covered all of Mike's points not missing a beat. Dave even went up on the roof (it was raining by the way) and did a full walk through. He checked for termites, structural, electrical, ran all appliances, all plumbing. He definitely knows his stuff and I will use him again.
I'm very happy with the inspection and report and highly recommend him.
We received the report in a very timely manner, the inspection was completed on a Friday morning and his report was completed by the next Monday morning.
Since we are not yet living in the area, we requested Dave to go back out and make sure the job was done, and done correctly.
He could not have been more professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I would absolutely and very highly recommend him for anyone needing a home inspected. I know if I ever need documentation for any home troubles in the future, I will be going back to Dave
"Thank you again. Good luck with your move."
