The home inspection went very well. Dave did a very thorough job. He was good at communicating time of deliverables and status. His report was sent promptly. I would recommend him highly.

He was able to recommend I contact a licensed professional contractors who helped me to avoid closing on a home that needed $8k worth of roofing work and a complete replacement predicated on his findings. He was very comprehensive, professional and I appreciate his excellent service. I was very impressed with him. I will recommend him and use him, again.

Dave Zappulla provided me with excellent, expert, professional service in the inspection of a single family home. He was informative prior to the inspection and during the inspection and wrote an excellent detailed report with photos and visual graphics. He appears extremely knowledgeable and comes fully prepared for the inspection. I followed him around during the inspection so that I could understand any concerns he had about the property. I am very happy that I hired him. I believe he is trustworthy and would not hesitate to hire him again, even though his fee is slightly more expensive than others. Worth every penny.

David was prompt and thorough. He was happy to explain what he was doing and finding in lay man's terms so that we understood. He delivered his report when he said he would and it too was thorough detailing both what he found and what he was unable to do such as view internal wiring and plumbing. I believe that this was a difficult job because of the age of the structure but David was up to it

Dave was incredibly professional, showed up on time, and performed the most thorough home inspection that I have ever seen. I followed him around the home during his inspection and he was very kind to answer my questions and point out areas of concern during the time he was at the house. The report was thorough, well written, and sent to us in record time. We would definitely recommend Dave to anyone buying a home or needing an inspection in the area.

Absolutely fantastic inspector.  Pointed out several major issues, as well as the 'right' way to fix them.  His advice was invaluable - I ended up canceling the contract.  The report was comprehensive and understandable.  I wish everyone involved in the real estate transfer biz was as professional.  Many thanks to Dave.

Dave was on time and very knowledgeable. He is a wealth of information and has recommendations to help find repairmen If necessary. He is a pleasant man who is very detail oriented.

Dave completed a home inspection and radon test. He was very professional, arriving on-time and ready to go to work. He was very thorough and explained everything he was looking for as he went through the three hour inspection. Dave was flexible with his schedule: we were under a time constraint and he was able to accommodate us on short notice. He provided many good tips on maintenance and repairs during the inspection, and also provided a number of contacts for electricians, plumbers, etc. This was very helpful in that we are new to the area and all of the contacts he provided have been very good as well. His report was well written, easy to understand and he used photographs where needed to illustrate an issue. He picked up on one potentially significant issue with ventilation and suggested we consult with the local township inspector (this was a new house) and a specific HVAC contractor. We followed both recommendations and are glad we did as we now fully understand what we should do about it. After the report was sent to us, we had a number of followup questions and Dave responded to our emails and phone calls promptly, usually the same day. Overall, Dave's professionalism and thoroughness were much appreciated and we can highly recommend his services.

We sold our hone and several deals did not go through. So with this in mind we seen several inspectors and it seem like everyone puts on a show to look like they are doing the job! When we found the house we purchased we call Dave to do the inspection! OMG he was there over 3 hr look in every crack a crevice.  He was was no show he is the real deal he takes his job to hart.  Looks out for the buyers interest if there is a problem he will find it!!  I have since referred him to 2 other friends who used him and were equally impressed!

Dave came recommended from multiple sources so I felt comfortable using his company. He was on time, very professional and extremely thorough. He identified major issues which resulted in a cancelled contract of sale. If we had gone through with the purchase, we would have bought a house which was a potential death trap and would have cost tens of thousands to fix. We were so happy with his services we used him again when we went under contract a second time. His services were invaluable in that he provided us with a comprehensive report which enabled us to negotiate a substantial credit due to certain undisclosed conditions. His fees were very reasonable but his value was priceless. I would use him again and again and again.

I got a referral for him from 6 of my co-workers who have all used him.  He's the real deal, he's pretty much as close to Mike Holmes (Holmes on Home guy) as you can get.
He arrived right at the scheduled time and was very pleasant to talk to.  Definitely knows his stuff.  He spent over 3hrs taking a look at everything.  Prior to my inspection I had binged on the show Holmes on Home to know get familiar with the typical inspection pitfalls and Dave covered all of Mike's points not missing a beat.  Dave even went up on the roof (it was raining by the way) and did a full walk through.  He checked for termites, structural, electrical, ran all appliances, all plumbing. He definitely knows his stuff and I will use him again.
I'm very happy with the inspection and report and highly recommend him.

Dave Zappulla performed the home inspection in July of 2014. He arrived at the time scheduled and was very personable. The house itself was in good shape but Dave pointed out things that were lacking. He mentioned deficiencies that I would never have seen. Dave saved us a lot of money. I'm talking at least $4000 in repairs. I have the receipts for the work performed by the seller. Dave was quick to respond to emails and phone calls even if there were multiple in a day. I will recommend him to anyone purchasing a home and will use him again.
