Outlined below is our customer experience with the contractor SOUTHVIEW HOMES. In January 2015 (approximately 14 months after signing a new construction contract with SOUTHVIEW HOMES) our WESTCHESTER MODULAR HOME was set on our property. In January 2015, SOUTHVIEW HOMES told us the modular's finishing work would take 8-12 weeks at the time of the house's set. Approximately 14 months later (in February 2016) all finishing work was completed by SOUTHVIEW HOMES and shortly after we obtained our Certificate Of Occupancy from the township. SOUTHVIEW HOMES Customer Experience Highlights -- No project schedule and/or timelines provided. -- Water on house's slab due to no rain leaders installed. -- Professional Engineer hired for determining root cause of slab water issue ($650). -- Notice of Unpaid Balance (NUB) filed by a SOUTHVIEW HOMES sub-contractor concerning payment issues. -- Contract Attorney hired concerning NUB and other related SOUTHVIEW construction issues ($900). -- Flood in 1st floor's ceiling during construction due to improperly installed Juliet balcony . -- Partially exposed exterior siding for 2+months after SOUTHVIEW HOMES Juliet balcony repair -- Paying SOUTHVIEW sub-contractors directly for expediting their work in a timely manner.
