This has been a complete disaster. The estimator/foreman, Joe was arrogant and rude from the beginning. Told my wife during the estimate phase. Do not worry you can not afford this anyway. At installation, the contractor removed leveling material and created a speed bump in my dining area. Then the foreman Joe tells me I have to do better when cleaning.

Estimator "Andrew" is extremely knowledgeable & promptly recommended a flooring solution to remedy our basement flooring issue caused by Hurricane Ida. Smart Carpet just installed new carpeting thruoghout our entire second floor, which included 4 bedrooms, a sitting room, a hallway and staircase. Everyone we met was extremely polite, friendly and knowledgable and they made the entire process ( estimate, scheduling, install ) extremely easy. The installers were some of the hardest workers I have encountered in a long time. They knew their craft and installed each room with care and precision. They moved our furniture with great care and left our home clean and tidy when they were finished. I would highly recommend this company.

This company gave me a price and I wanted more estimates. After they spoke with the manager that waited in the car they came back with a huge price drop if I signed today. I moved forward and got a better quote. No big deal until I call to cancel that day and the sales manager calls me and I cancel again. They charged my card for half the job anyway and called to save the contract but never called to tell me they were issuing a refund and apologize. Not a great experience.

Jay Carter, the Smart Carpet Representative was knowledgeable and patience with us. He explained every waterproof vinyl flooring he should my wife and I. We made our selection on 2/27/2019 the same day he showed up to our home and presented his company’s choices. All flooring materials were dropped off to our home on 3/6/2019 and our beautiful floor was installed on Friday 3/8/2019. We couldn’t asked for a faster process. The purchase of the best waterproof vinyl flooring and installation isn’t cheap but my wife and I feel like it was totally worth it. Thank you Jay Carter. We are Smart Carpet customers from now on. Oh, on a side note, we had several flooring companies come to our home to give us an estimate. Whatever you do folks, don’t go with Empire Flooring, the were ridiculously high.

These guys damaged my home repeatedly!!!! They have EXTREMELY poor workmanship (I have photos proving their "professional" baseboard install showing how they cracked the walls, had mismatched lines, their unfinished work, etc.) and they even scratched the new floor that they just installed when trying to hook up the washer and dryer for the second time, since they did it incorrectly the first time, causing a huge mess. I cannot stress to you enough how much of a headache this was. My husband had to rip out their work and we had to have it redone. It was an absolute nightmare!!!!
