This company was recommended by the company that had just installed a new roof on our house. I had not heard of them but thought it would not hurt to hear their numbers. I called and set up an appointment after all my information was collected. The salesman, Adam, was very pleasant and gave us all the information as to how big a system was needed and the costs. Then we asked if we could think about it and get back to them. He said no problem and put no pressure on us to make a decision right then. We called and the project was started. It took longer than originally thought due to lag time of items that needed certification or inspection which was out of their control. All of the people involved in this installation have been great and would definitely recommend them.
Since it only has been up an running since 30 June I can't say how much I am saving but I do know so far I have produced 1.65Mwh back into the grid.

We believe in doing our part in lessening the carbon foot print.  My husband an I looked at solar several times but were discourage  when we were told that we had to cut down the majority of our trees in the back yard. Thanks to Hurricane Sandy, we were forced to cut down some of our trees that were close to the power lines in the field behind the house.   Once again I checked into solar, looking in to map-quest, it was apparent to me that we might have a chance with the clearing of the tree to run solar.   I check several solar companies, and intensives decided that MY Solar would be my best choice.   They had loads of incentives, plus they were one of the few that talked about ownership rather then leasing.   Once establish that they were best suited for my needs we started the process.   They took charge of getting the permits, coordination of replacing or roof, and PSE&G.  They were knowledgeable, informative and very courteous.   They kept my husband and myself well informed, via email, phone or text during week days holidays day or night.  If i had a qusrtion they were a phone call away.  My POC was the best, he kept me well informed.  There a still a few things that have to be adjusted, but I have confidence that it will be resolved.

Although it was a long process, I think everything went extremely well. My Solar and their staff explained everything in detail and were prop when I had  questions or concerns, about the system.   It seems like they were on call 24/7 and keept on top of the process and updated me on a weekly bases.  I was extremley happy with the whole precess.

Initial sales presentation on October 17, 2015 was very thorough. There were many options in terms of system size and lease vs buy.

There was a lot of paperwork to process with the state and local authorities and fortunately My Solar Home took care of most of it valiantly. The only times I had to step in was to act as a middleman with the homeowners association because they had a rule of not working directly with contractors.

Installers worked efficiently and cleaned up the work area when the work was complete.

System was turned on June 3, 2016 after receiving the necessary approval from the utility company and with guidance from My Solar Home over email.

My Solar Home was proactive in keeping us informed on the progress and were quick to respond to any queries.

Duration of project from initial sales consultation to turning on system: 7.5 months

No complaints. Would use them again.

Everything was great. Everyone that came out from measuring to the actual installation were all great. They were very nice, efficient and professional. I am now referring them to my family to try to get them to do this service on their homes as well.

I can only say great things about my experience with My Solar Home. From the first time I called them they were very professional and responsive. They scheduled a time that was convenient for me. The energy advisor who came to my home provided me with a great education, was very well informed, and did not make me feel uncomfortable or pressured. Signing up was very easy. They kept in touch with me every step of the way from beginning to end and kept me informed of the status of my project. The team that came to my home to install the solar system was very courteous and treated my home with respect and installed the system with no disruption to me and my family. The system has worked great from the day it was turned on. Now that is has been almost a year I can say that everything they promised me in savings I have received.
I shopped several solar companies for my system and I would strongly recommend My Solar Home. They were the most honest and well informed of everyone I met with.
