CMC Flooring & Carpet Store

In June, 2013, we spent $3600 for carpet installation in 2 rooms of our home, plus stairs. After payment, we asked the Owner to have someone return as follow-up, as there were nails/tacks sticking out of the carpeting in the Master Bedroom entry way. We also had questions as to the installation on the stairs. When the workers came back, there was an English speaking Supervisor/Contractor that came with them, and to whom we pointed out the issues. They pulled up the applicable carpeting in the bedroom and made some adjustments, but they never fully re-attached / re-tacked it. The area is now uneven, as well as separated and buckling. Since June, we have called approximately 4 times and visited the store once. On all attempts at contact, we got the run around. For each and every call that we made, they took our number, promised to call us back and never did. On our visit yesterday,10/14, the Owner?s wife and daughter called the Owner and the Contractor in front of my husband. After completing their calls, the wife looked up our phone number in their records, and said that the Contractor would "call this afternoon?. He never did. I must also mention, that this is the treatment that we have received AFTER we were charged TWICE for the installation, which has since been reversed. Please avoid this business at all costs, unless you enjoy substandard work, being double charged and being ignored about addressing problems with their service.
