When Scott was doing the cleaning and sealing it looked like it was working out o.k. The problem was that his high- pressure cleaning machine stripped the top coat from the oak transitions between the tile and oak floors and left spots in the wood.. I noticed it first on one of the transitions and had Scott look at it while he was finishing up. He acknowledged the problem and said they should have covered the transitions before doing the steam cleaning and sealing. He said to use Bona on the area and it would fix the problem. It did not. When the tile floor dried I also noticed that some of the grout lines in the corners were not cleaned and in those areas the grout was still dark and dirty. They really stood out like sore thumbs from the cleaned areas. I tried to contact Scott by email and phone for more than a week with no success. He finally got back to me and said he would come out and fix the transitions. He said nothing about redoing the corner areas that looked uncleaned. There was a foul up on the appointment and I was not at home when he came. I thought it was the next day. I have tried to contact him since but he has refused to get back to me. I'd stay away from this outfit they did not leave my home in very good shape.
