Dave Bruce was the contractor for our rebuild. While several of the bidders for the work looked a little overwhelmed by it all Dave took on the job with a very positive attitude that helped a lot as we were feeling pretty low. It was an immensely difficult time with the workforce on Long Beach Island totally overextended. Somehow Dave kept all the subcontractors on task on a very complicated job. He came up with excellent ideas and was very mindful of cost. As one would expect, lots of problems arose but Dave managed to deal with them very effectively. He was available when we needed to meet and was always on time. He was responsive and documented any changes that we agreed. The subcontractors obviously enjoyed working with Dave and that helped the overall process. When it was finished our home looked beautiful and made all the heartache worthwhile. Dave always gave us confidence that the work would get done and well and was true to his word. We have since had need for some small follow up jobs and he has been just as responsive. Best contractor we have ever worked with.
