We did not use his services

Two trees are totally dead and four others are showing browning on branches. Have tried to contact Steve Razz since April for him to honor the guarantee he wrote on my receipt. He will not call back, will not pick up certified letters and won't answer email. I'm going to lose $117 for each tree. He promised a refund of $117 for the tree he never bought that I paid for and I never got the money.

There is only one review of this company and being that it wasn't the greatest I felt the need to leave my review for others to consider. I called Steve after asking around town who the best company was to create my new and quot;backyard oasis.and quot; Hands down 9 out of 10 people said Steve Razz Construction. The one person who didn't had never used him. He answered my call himself, impressed me with his knowledge and level of expertise and came over several hours later to give me an estimate. He sat down with my husband and I and we discussed what were were looking to do. We explained that we were on a tight budget and he was able to cut corners, throw in a few and quot;extrasand quot; at no charge, and give us exactly what we wanted at half the cost of his competitors. He referred us to engineers and even handled all the town applications and permits. Never in my life have I seen a man work harder than this guy. Both he and his crew worked sun up until way after sun down, ensuring every detail was taken care of. Upon completion of the project he delivered topsoil and mulch and both times the material was clean. The rock walls are both beautiful and well structured. The paver patio is perfect. The water now drains on the correct side of the property thanks to the correct pitch and pipework. In the end we became good friends and in fact my neighbor just hired him for her project after seeing what an incredible job he did on ours! This man is going through h*** with a daughter who is very sick with cancer and never did he miss one day of work or let his personal life get in the way. He is young, talented and a real go getter. Always honest and upfront, Steve Razz Construction was worth every penny. You will not be disappointed.

AMAZING.

Before ordering, I spoke to the owner (Steve Razz) to get assurance that the company would deliver pure topsoil (not ground up glass, stones, or other debris). He assured me he deals in only in the highest quality topsoil, with soil testing monthly. I asked for certification of this testing. He said it would be provided with the delivery. The soil came and the driver knew nothing about any certificate. In the soil I found copious wrappers, papers, and string, and well as broken glass, random pieces of plastic, bits of rope, and even a dental pick! I contacted the company twice through their website about this. No response. I then called on 4/23/12 and was assured by the person answering the phone (Jason) that I would get a call back from the owner by the next day with resolution. No call. Four day later I left a voice message. No response. Later that day I called again and spoke to Jason again who assured me I would have resolution by the end of the business day. This did not happen. This morning (3 days later) I left another message. By the end of the business day, still no response. I have grave concerns about the quality of this topsoil that is now all over my yard including in the garden that will grow food for my family. This company is evasive and unprofessional and seems to deal in low-quality product.
